So, i have played the board game version of this and the previous app version of this and this new version is not good. It is impossible to move and rotate pieces the way you need to. It only allows one side of the piece to be played which very much limits how you play. It wonā€™t allow legal moves. Pass until there are significant fixes to this game. Donā€™t try the other version either. Not worth it.

Iā€™ve played ingenious so bought this without thinking. Iā€™m disappointed to see that at the moment there is no 2 player pass and play offline option. This seems to be such a basic oversight that Iā€™m not sure if Iā€™m doing something wrong. Surely this needs to be implemented but otherwise itā€™s as good as I remember it. until the 2 player is put in, only 2 stars for me, as thatā€™s why I got it.

I agree the method for tile placement is terrible, worse then the old Ingenious app. I place a tile then rotate and the part I donā€™t want rotating moves lol. So annoying

Very nice game concept (love the original boardgame), but the app is really buggy.

It was my favorite game, but itā€™s no longer available. I find the controls on this very touchy and only having the option to play it with phone sideways is annoying. Not fun. I hope this will get another redesign.

Fehler in der Punktebewertung im Solo-Spiel - zB 17 Punkte bei Gelb, Stein mit Gelb gesetzt, der jedenfalls 3 Punkte bringen muss, gewertet wird aber nur 1 Punkt šŸ™ Und das immer wieder, sodass es nahezu unmƶglich wird, eine Mindestpunkteanzahl von 20 bei allen Farben zu erreichen. Daher nur ā­ļøā­ļøā­ļø.

Havenā€™t played the original Ingenious game but gave this a try & it is now one of my most played games on my iPad - is fast, simple & thinky. I havenā€™t yet won it, but havenā€™t been last either - so plenty to get the little grey cells around yet. My only niggle is that placing the hex pieces can be a bit fiddly at times - have to rotate them from the right end step-by-step into position - feel sure there must be a better way. Besides that, would definitely recommend.
