App is mostly good, basically identical to CIBC app which is good and bad. There are a few missing features that are carried though from what’s missing in the CIBC app. 1. Transaction notifications. I miss this the most, I had this at my previous bank. I’d LOVE the option to get push notifications for any transaction made in any selected account. Notifications for debit purchases, paychecks etc… 2. Dark more UI and icon 3. UI consistency. It’s modern on the home page but reverts back to outdated once you click to view all transactions. The transactions tab in both CIBC app and this one are bad and confusing/outdated. I hope they are working on updating this next.

The password field in the app is shorter than the allowed password length online which makes it impossible to sign in

Got a new iphone and deregistered my old iphone and the app with the same permissions won’t let me register as a trusted device anymore. Tried to uninstall, reset settings, different wifi and cell network and I keep getting the 6086 error.

Becoming worse and worse. Literally the flotsam of CIBC. Which is why I also don’t go to CIBC. Already moved any significant banking I do away from Simplii / CIBC, after being with them for 20 years. For a few details: They’re missing sending out replacement debit cards with months of notice, so it’s not that other wonderfully managed org: Canada Post. They don’t offer competitive interest rates any longer, and reaching their support is *exponentially* more frustrating than it should be without the option of branch locations. In short: Great, when everything is going well. But literally any company can pull that off. What a classic indictment of Canadian oligopolies.

Keeping it simple. I have a loan with them. I had automatic payments coming out. One day they stopped and the bank said my payments were late. I said that’s impossible since I have it to come out automatically. They said I don’t. I set it up again. They didn’t take them out. Credit dropped. I called and asked why they didn’t take it. They said it’s not setup. So I went through the process again. Same thing occurred three more times. I’ve filed three complaints and no change. Now they’ve started taking them at a weekly occurrence without my consent. Currently waiting for them to call me back as they put me on the longest hold and transferred me to another department that I did not need. At first I thought it was a mistake until it kept happening. Go someplace else. Anywhere else. Don’t trust Simplii.

App used to be a good one and I find it annoying now Tried sending e-transfer 6 different occasions around 7 pm so can’t say they are updating or some other lame excuse. Every time it says e-transfer sent. But other party get nothing and my funds were not deducted. It is only 550$ not a big amount. This is actually ridiculous as I am trying to do this for an emergency. They are part of one of the bigger banks in Canada and I am very disappointed. I am unable up even call them as I am right now overseas. Absolutely disappointed. Soon after I come back, I will empty my account and look elsewhere.

my card was stolen, i cannot lock it from the app, you have to call customer service to lock it, and the thief had plenty of time to use my card because i waited for the customer service on the phone. if you planning to add this feature make sure its easy to find in the app
