Have added Ā£5 credit to use in an emergency. The app could be very good. Basic. Slow. Buggy. Isnā€™t this area supposed to be at the technological forefront? Instead, theyā€™ve made an app very like a government app: poorly thought out & badly executed.

Trying to register it consistently displays a message saying no internet coverage... funny really as Iā€™m posting this review whilst in the same place as trying to register.

This App used to work but today I tried it for the first time in a couple of years and it was useless. Firstly it seems to have lost all of my credit from the previous usage so I added a small top up. Secondly I located the charger and clicked start charge but when I plugged the cable in nothing happened. I tried to cancel but it said I can no longer cancel the charging session. I also tried the adjacent charge point to no avail. Iā€™ve tried stopping and restarting the app, rebooting my phone and reinstalling the app but it still shows that it is waiting for me to follow the instructions on the charger. Because I cannot cancel this failed attempt to charge I couldnā€™t use a different charging station. The app is now therefore completely useless

Iā€™m not normally one for going into the App Store just to rant about an app. But this app is appalling. Canā€™t sign in using my password keeper. Two different sign in methods, one says password wrong, the other accepts it. Map doesnā€™t load. Menus sometimes do nothing. Just what the hell is going on? Iā€™m going to have to ask for my money back because I put some credit in to use their chargers.

I have made one successful charge in all the time I have had this app. No keyboard, app freezes and crashes. Now Iā€™m unable to charge as it says Iā€™m still charging from my last charge 2 days ago!!!! The chargers themselves are terribly maintained and frequently do not work. You can always call customer services if you want to wait 30 mins and then get cut off!!

I canā€™t get the app to work it always say trouble polars end. Canā€™t raise a ticket as that doesnā€™t work either. Easier to use contactless. Update: I have been trying to get a refund within 14 days and have been ignored by email. When I call by phone and mention refund they hang up on me. I have a really bad feeling about this.

Worst experience ever. The app is unreliable and their charging points are even worse. Do anything you can to void using this company

App is very unresponsive and have real difficulties in getting it to work - have never had a successful charge (despite over numerous attempts). Yesterday represented my most successful attempt yet where the app commenced a charge but the wouldnā€™t allow me to end it, thereby restricting me from untethering from the point when I was ready to leave. Iā€™ve found the BP Chargemaster app a MUCH better alternative. In my view, polar should just discontinue this app and focus purely on the BP one instead.

This time I could make it work, we, then I chose the wrong connector and tried to cancel but couldnā€™t , thought it would time out. After 5 mins waiting to be able to cancel I gave up and thankfully contactless worked ! I went back to app after 1:20mins and was able to cancel, but app then hung Largest uk coverage of chargers and the WORST software !!
