My host agency switched from Discord to Circle at the beginning of the year. The app is so frustrating that I find I never check our chats anymore. When I’m trying to read the latest chat entries, it constantly scrolls back up several months before. I scroll back down, and it scrolls back up again. Typing is also a real pain. It’s just unpleasant. I’m not a developer, but I read in the comments where other people were saying it does not use the Apple whatever which is why it’s a problem. I like the concept of the comments being on the actual post they belong to versus Discord where you had to search through a thread to find the corresponding comments. However, it’s too frustrating having things bounce around on me. I’m too busy to look at Circle on the computer, so I really need the app to work. Until it does so, I won’t be wasting my time on Circle.

I am loving the community on the website it’s amazing! Jenn has really provided a safe place and has so much information, the layout is perfect to everything is easy to find! I’m really glad I found circle C xx

Unlike the function in website, the iOS doesn’t allow user to set the feed sorting order which is extremely annoying cuz the latest one always gets buried at the bottom! Plus, sometimes when I clicked the notification push, the app will load a few seconds and then either showed error or empty page. So I’ll have to kill the app and reopen. The homepage will show yet I can’t locate that pushed article again. That’s terrible. It occurred occasionally so it’s not that easy to reproduce the problem. But the app even does not provide the sorting function is unacceptable. Feels like no one is actually running this app. Did you even have PM to follow up and manage the product?!

Now with new update I can’t even open messages in the app, previously I took issue with the fact that the message both in chat and forum would scroll to some random place half way up the chat/forum, the app freezes on me randomly and in general is quite cluggy to work with, makes learning quite frustrating.

I love the classes and the variety of options to chose from. The community of messians is one of the best groups ever. Everyone is supportive of each other and laugh together when we have zoom sessions. There is so much to learn from each other. I am so glad I followed my friend Claudette here. It is worth every penny we pay. Ann Harris
