PRIVACY FIRST: YOUR DATA EXPLAINED
We understand the sensitivity of your medical data. MedControl strictly complies with data protection regulations:
• Security: All your data and files travel encrypted to our secure cloud.
• True Right to be Forgotten: You have absolute control. If you delete your account, all your data is irreversibly erased.
• No Selling of Data: We do not sell your clinical history to third parties. Your data serves only to make the app work.
• Minimization: We only collect what is strictly necessary.
TRANSPARENCY: ETHICAL AND SECURE ADVERTISING
To keep MedControl free for everyone, we use Google AdMob technology. We want to be 100% clear about what this means:
• No Access to Health Data: The ads you see DO NOT know what medicines you take or what symptoms you record. They have no access to your medical database.
• Minimal Technical Data: Device identifiers not linked to your personal identity are used to ensure ads are secure and prevent fraud.
• You Decide: You can manage your ad preferences directly from settings.
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT & VIRTUAL PILLBOX
• Reminders: Set alarms for all types of meds (pills, syrups, injections) with flexible repetition options.
• Stock Control: Manage your medicine inventory. Receive alerts before you run out.
• Intake Log: Confirm every dose and keep an adherence history to show your doctor.
CAREGIVER MODE (LOCAL PROFILES)
• Manage multiple profiles from your own device. Create independent files to control your parents' or children's health without leaving your phone.
VITALS LOG
Record and visualize your vital signs evolution with intuitive charts:
• Blood Pressure (Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse).
• Glucose (Sugar and Insulin).
• Weight (Weight, Height, BMI).
• Others: Oxygen Saturation (SpO2), Temperature, and Heart Rate.
