A few months ago I was scheduled for 15 hours over the course of 3 nights—it was the weekend. I held the premiere (highest) courier status, I had hotspots surrounding me, and I did not receive a single order. Not one. You section out this time and can’t be productive in any other way because you anticipate doing deliveries, and it’s all for nothing. You’re left with holes in your pockets, not a dime earned. It’s incredibly demoralizing. I’ve had more orders come in during those same hours when I held the lowest tier level and was not even on schedule. I’ve also had good moments where orders are coming in and you’re actually desperate for a quick bathroom or lunch break. It’s great at times and just plain horrible at other times. A hit-or-miss. I really like the idea of it and the app is periodically improving and has become less frustrating to manage over time, but the lack of orders when you work your butt off to retain premiere status is just incredibly frustrating and leaves little motivation to both maintain a high level and to schedule out time slots. I’ve recently decided to just try popping online here and there throughout the week, outside of a scheduled time slot and see if it improves my sanity. So far, it’s worked better this way because I can hop on Uber Eats, as well, and increase my chances of getting an order. One final note: last week, I missed two orders that came in because for some reason I did not receive notifications for them. I was literally driving and desperately waiting for a delivery to come in with my phone right in front of me, and two back-to-back orders sprang up without ringing or popping up. So I missed them and then I was penalized for not having accepted them. 3 stars to balance things out.

When scheduling, if a block isn’t available after it says it is, the app just sits there loading. So you have to exit to refresh, and by then someone already took the other open block. Worst scheduling code in all gig work! Do you want to have the worst scheduling of all apps Grubhub?? Because it’s trash compared to EVERY OTHER! 🦻

I had stopped grubbing doing deliveries for a few months and in that timeframe I was assigned a new number from my debit card provider. I have been trying over 3 months to remove to replace so I can replace info and be able to cash out when I want instead of waiting weekly. NO ONE at Grubhub Support team has been able to help me! I’ve taken all the necessary steps to verify my identity & more and they keep completing my support request as if the issue was resolved. I barely work with Grubhub because of those reasons!

The app is full of bugs and errors and cannot fix them without calling driver care. Driver “care” is a joke. They only do a few simple things which must be handled in the app easily. Plus, when the agents understand that they can’t help, they are not directing to the survey (possibly they don’t want to get low rating). If you want a smooth delivery driving experience, I suggest stay away. Which I will do the same.

I like the work but the app has stressed me out on 2 different occasions. First, it didn’t let me click arrive at a store. Driver care agent told me to shop and call them back to help me mark the order delivered. While shopping the app decided that since “I wasn’t at the store” it unassigned the order with penalty, that affected my rating and driver care couldn’t help me with that. Second occasion, I see that I “missed” an order, even though I completed the same order. Driver care claimed the order was sent to me twice even though that didn’t happen on my end. She said I should update the app, the app was already updated. Just be on the lookout for random things like this that will affect your ratings even though it’s the app’s fault.

Grub hub is good to have as a side gig ! Only problem is that they lie about the “instant cash out” I worked all day I needed to pay my bills I didn’t get my instant cash out till the next day ! Please fix that or don’t promote the instant cash out how you guys say that is not ok ! That’s false advertisement!

Logging onto this app is glitchy and requires me to reset my password every two days. Even if I use the correct password, the app will tell me I’m using the wrong one after a certain amount of time. It feels like playing the password game and I don’t know why this happens. Whether this is intended or not, it is incredibly frustrating and I’m running out of passwords. Please fix this behavior. It’s at a point where I’ve made more passwords than money.

The delivery code system is a f’n mess. Too many customers can’t find their codes, and it’s ridiculous that drivers risk deactivation for taking a picture instead. If you insist on using this system, which I like because it protects me, at least make it easier for customers to find their codes! Put it in a more obvious place in the app and send clearer instructions. This issue slows down deliveries and frustrates both drivers and customers. It’s embarrassing. Tonight, I watched the customer go through the “email” and all her text messages. I didn’t see a code anywhere! Fix it!
