I have been using this app for so long. I genuinely can’t remember what life was like without it! I first came across it when my soon to be 16 year old was small and it was my game changer. I think the one of the for the app is well worth it, for those lower reviews complaining that it’s just a load of lists, well they are missing the point and the beauty of it all. It’s not just a load of lists, it’s a really well thought out tried and tested method which has been beautifully grouped together in highly satisfying tickle lists. On top of that I pay for, and absolutely love, the Tom Rocks guided cleans. There are keep me company sessions too for all of your day-to-day tasks such as unpacking shopping, clearing your inbox, even pottering in the garden. As well as doing the thinking so you don’t have to, they are full of compassion and camaraderie. I am so very thankful to Gemma and the team for this app, because it genuinely makes my life easier, and when there’s a lot of stuff out there that seems to be trying to make it harder, it’s nice to find a little yellow square of peace to help me keep the housework under control. Because as Gemma herself will say, there’s more to life than housework!

Worth it! If I clean on my own my ADHD takes over….there are a million things to do and I keep jumping between tasks. When I clean “with Gemma” I just listen to what she tells me to do and actually finish tasks! My house is much cleaner when I follow this method. Therefore, my mind is much more at ease.

I love the simple checklists and how they are divided into manageable groups and that you can customize them. It’s so helpful to have someone else decide what I need to do each day for cleaning, LOL

This app is so worth it to me sometimes I have done the guided cleans and sometimes not but just having the checklist right here on my phone has been so helpful. I love being able to compartmentalize the cleaning. I just do it and then it’s done for the day and then when I notice something else I don’t have to worry about it. It’s helped so much! It’s also easy to delegate to others in my home.

Had a problem with accessing TomRocks of my own making (for me the best bit) and Jenny was really patient with me and talked me through what I needed to do. Everything now works as it should. Thank you! Great Customer Service!

This has changed my life. I have a terrible memory and no time perception, so I struggle to do tasks for reasonable lengths of time. I would either spend all day hoovering the stairs or go two weeks without remembering to do anything. This app has changed my life. The TOM rocks recordings measure my time for me and keep me motivated. This enables me to do a little bit of cleaning everyday and, as a result, my house is sparkling. I can’t believe what a difference it has made. I look forward to my TOM rocks sessions and get quite excited to do them everyday. That’s quite an achievement for someone who hated, and was terrible at, housework. The only negative for me is that the name is unnecessarily gendered and anti-childless. I’d prefer it to be retitled to something that makes it feel like it’s for everyone.

Hola! I’m a long time listener (even back in the Patreon days) and I tell everyone about this app and my ‘personal trainer for housework’. Life is so overwhelming and when the clutter takes over my sanity and it starts to affect my self esteem, these guided cleans are just so satisfying. I get stuff cleaned in maybe 10% of the time as I don’t get distracted and try and do too much at once. I’ve never managed to keep up with the daily schedule due to work and family chaos but when I need a blast of motivation and someone to keep me on track, I access the guided cleans in the vault and life feels better and more manageable within 30 mins. It’s such a boost to my mental wellbeing. Gem is amazing. I love the little antidotes and motivation she adds to the cleans.

The actual premise and obvious objective of this app is fabulous and I cannot fault it. However, over the past year or two of using it, I have run into several issues which I have contacted support about. I have not once received a reply - even when I went to the trouble of updating them when I accidentally replicated an error as I know this is key in bug fixing. I asked on their Instagram why I don't get replies and they just told me to email the same address I'd been using. In all honesty, I gave up! As I said, a great premise and the current app is a great improvement on the old design, but their customer support really lets them down.
