The soundtrack and art is absolutely beautiful, and ofc above all else is the story. With out spoiling anything it’s about how our perspective can warp the truth and how we sometimes see what we want to see. While the entire game is only about an hour and a half long it is worth every second of it. I’ve already replayed it three times at this point, it sticks with you. And this game is somehow almost unheard of so if you like this game as much as I did, please tell someone, I want to talk to more people about this game.

Had to to watch videos of people playing this “game” to see if I missed something obvious, but no. This “game” is just a short story with boring ending. It give you an impression that something mysterious has happened and that you are about to unravel the mysterious that the town holds, but then just suddenly ends with rolling credits, leaving you with a feeling that someone stole your money by luring you into buying this “game”. The fact that this is in the game section is in itself a scam, because it just a short «interactive» story, if you could call clicking through a couple of dialog choices that has absolutely no impact on the “game” storyline. Hour long is also stretching it. Would guess it took me less than 45 minutes to click through the story. I love pixel games, and the graphics is ok, with a few bugs here and there, but the story just doesn’t hold up and you end up feeling scammed. Gonna demand a refund for this one as this isn’t a game, and it feels like the writers of the story gave up before finishing.

Beautiful game, tragic story. Would like to see a sequel about the main character, this feels like only the beginning of a larger story arc! You misspelled Ursula Le Guin’s name though, I believe.

What a great little narrative! Exactly the kind of story our society needs right now, just jam packed with truth about our current moment. A stuck up / pink haired feminist type comes back to her small town from the big city on the 1 year anniversary of her childhood best friends death. She overlays all her modern misogyny onto the situation and develops a wild theory of her friends death that confirms all her incorrect views of the world, only to discover that like Jon Snow…she knows nothing, and that it wasn’t her dead friend who chose the wrong path, but herself. It’s short but contains a message so many young people need to absorb (as long as you play it to the end when she gets pie’d in the face) I saw some reviews on here of people saying this is just more woke garbage …but they obviously didn’t play to the end. I get that people are sick and tired of all the antitruth propaganda in all our movies/shows/games and are highly sensitive to it, and quick to just turn it off and leave a bad review at the first whiff of wokeness (it’s often deserving) but stick with this one to the end, it all blows up in her face and is highly highly satisfying!

The whole point of the game is to show that the main character who says stuff like “Jesus loving freaks” is in the wrong

Played this game for about 10-15 minutes and it’s nothing but anti-Christianity. Every other sentence is “Jesus Freaks”, “Bible thumpers”, etc. Leans HEAVILY to the left side. Basically within those few minutes, it said Christianity is bad and forced the LGBT/abortion stuff nonstop. Just not my type of game and would’ve liked to have known this before paying for it. Deleted it and won’t be finishing.

Je mets 4 étoiles car le jeu et le sujet du jeu sont beaux, mais je ne m’attendais pas à ce que ce soit aussi court (40mn, et c’est parce que j’ai tout regardé et que j’ai pris le temps), et qu’il n’y ait pas vraiment de « choix » à faire ni de recherches. C’est surtout une histoire à suivre, plus qu’un jeu d’enquête ou d’aventure, et si vous ne parlez pas anglais vous ne trouverez pas votre bonheur du coup, je pense !
