Save the app that could save your life – Emergency Plus.   In an emergency, time and location accuracy are critical. By downloading the ‘Emergency +’ app, you’ll equip yourself with a powerful tool that will help you call Triple Zero (000) quickly, and allow you to accurately communicate your location to emergency call-takers.   ‘Emergency +’ is a national app developed by Australia’s emergency services and their government industry partners, helping people to call the right number at the right time, anywhere in Australia. Emergency + also includes SES and Police Assistance Line numbers as options, so non-emergency calls are made to the most appropriate number.   When calling Triple Zero (000), remember to stay focused, stay relevant and stay on the line. Before you call ask yourself:   * Is someone seriously injured or in need of urgent medical help? * Is your life or property being threatened? * Have you just witnessed a serious accident or crime?   If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of these questions, call Triple Zero (000). Triple Zero (000) calls are free.   The app uses a mobile phone’s GPS functionality and what3words, so callers can provide emergency call-takers with their location information as determined by their smart phone.   With what3words available within the Emergency+ app, Triple Zero (000) callers can confirm their exact location quickly and accurately. what3words has divided the world into 3m squares and given each one a unique three word identifier. Addressing using what3words works offline - ideal when you have no data coverage or are in a remote location.}

My phone was running Emergency Plus without incident on IOS 16.7.12 until a few weeks ago. There are no outstanding updates. Now when I open the App it closes within seconds. The only version onthe App Store requires IOS 18. As an emergency location aid this should not plan for device obsolescence, otherwise only those with a new phone can use it. Is there an older version I can use?

Every time I open the app, it crashes. I’m on iOS 16, all software is up to date. Are you still supporting iOS 16?

i just downloaded this app on recommendation from a consultant. the app looks good but the gps location mark correct but the street address is for another street approx than 50 meters.. suggest that apple map location services be set to less than 10 meters or less.

Hello Team, I know emergency vehicles are tracked, can you add the attached vehicle when it is the persons turn in que. Maybe, also show all additional call outs on screen, it’s the only way to get more vehicles and operators in service. People need to see how many vehicles there are and how many call outs they attend, or are needing too attend turned on including the person using the apps

Using a What3Words app is a costly, confusing and dangerous mistake. The words latitude and longitude are also unnecessary. Decimal coordinates should be used.

The recent update has given the app a nice clean, easy to use front screen. I haven’t had to use it in an emergency as yet. Being an occasional grey nomad I often promote the app amongst other travellers.

Great app 4.5 ⭐️ What can make it a 5⭐️ is the addition of a metronome in the app to help with CPR cadence. A flashing screen would be so much easier.
