Still a dog. Doesn’t update features when you add them, e.g Pops, dump stations - you think there’s none but no, it’s the faulty app 🤯

It is obvious that the money that the club is making is not going to the development of the app. Compared to the old app, which was based on the Campmate app, was superior in all aspects. The present app is unstable, hangs, hides parks until you maximise zoom level, has no links to the parks etc. it’s the simplest way of searching.and the filter functions cannot be trusted. Sad to have to just let it go and go back to the old catalogue again.

You find the location and then can’t select any shown camps, exit search and back to previous view. So basically useless. Agree this is beta at present. 80% there but that last 20% is so important.

The UI is nice to use and everything is easy to access, but the old travel app felt more feature-rich and robust. Missing the campsaver filter too! The iconography on the old app was clearer, but I’m sure with use you can learn the key for the new map view.

The old app has much higher quality graphics and color coding made it much easier for those of us with bad eyesight to identify campsite types. Also it looks like a number of sites are missing that are on the old app? Seems like the campground filter is buggy as some stuff would show up but not others on various settings. I’m sure the bugs will be fixed over time and I appreciate the upgrades with this new version but would recommend holding on the the old one as well for a while!

Every time you change the camping filter to see what options are in an area the map goes back to the whole of NZ. It doesn’t stay zoomed in to the area of interest! Is this an alpha version?
