I’ve downloaded and deleted so many book apps. This one is sticking. The transfer from Goodreads was excellent. I do wish you could sync more sources but overall I’m happy!

I loveeeee Margins!! It’s simple and encouraging in appearance and function. It’s ADHD-friendly features like the reading timer, and monthly log keeps me enjoying reading! My favorite is the monthly recap so there are neat ways to share your progress! Always support the smaller companies. Amzn and Goodreads are exploiting you!

All round very good app, I’m very happy with many of the features which are already available, but there is still room for improvement. For example, the selection of books available is still very English-language-centric, which sometimes makes looking for non English books hard, especially because of the different titles given by the translators. So the first thing to develop would be in my opinion the search bar, and maybe making so that when you type the non-English name of the book it still understands what book I am looking for, maybe pulling up the English version if the “local” one is not possible. Second step would be obviously to expand the database of books, because non-English books and authors as I said are still few and far between, and the scanner doesn’t always recognize them. Third thing I’d really love to see is more widgets, maybe for for quickly adding books or scanning ISBN codes. This third step i would really really appreciate. Keep up the great work, looking forward to see this app getting better and better!!!

this app definitely takes over goodreads. it’s easy to use and there are some many ways you can customize your usage! just started using it and i already love it. just adjusting a few things (shelves and stats)

I love a book tracking app but (shocker) am sick of Goodreads for many reasons. Because I am a little insane, I took all of 2025 to use multiple book tracking apps (Goodreads, Margins, Fable, and StoryGraph). After every reading session, I would update each of these apps (for science, obviously). Now that we’re nearing the end of 2025, I am genuinely a bit surprised to say that Margins is my winner. To be frank, when I started using Margins at the beginning of this year it had the least going for it. But throughout the year, it has been consistently updated with super easy to use features that just make sense for readers, good recommendation algorithms, quick bug fixes, etc. I always loved the time tracking element but am so glad they added additional metrics! Love the cozy vibe of the app on top of it all. Well done, Margins team. 👏
