OsiriX HD is a full DICOM image viewer for iOS (DICOM Files & DICOM Network protocol support). AWARDS - Aunt Minnie's 2013 - "Best Radiology Mobile App” - Mobie Awards 2009: Winner - Best Medical App - RSNA 2008: Excellence in Design - RSNA 2008: Certificate of Merit "OsiriX HD" is a DICOM software for iOS: DICOM is the digital standard for storing and transferring medical images. This iOS app is designed to work seamlessly with any DICOM compatible software, including PACS, medical workstations, acquisition modalities. It also supports communications through the iOS built-in VPN for secure and encrypted connections. The convenience of being able to access DICOM images remotely added to the fact that images can be previewed on the iPhone/iPad screen in a very effective and convenient way offers a new perspective for mobile teleradiology. This iOS application can also be used as a helper application for other iOS applications: it allows to read DICOM datasets received by emails or in Safari, or to visualize DICOM datasets stored in DropBox folder, for example. It also supports a built-in URL scheme protocol (osirix://) for easy integration in RIS, HIS, or PACS environment. KEY FEATURES - Display and browsing through large sets of images through an interactive slider - Zoom and Pan and rotation of the images - Contrast and intensity adjustment of image window and level - Measurement of object sizes using a line measurement tool that can be set and adjusted - Measurement of image content data using a circular region of interest tool that can be drawn and moved - Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR) - DICOM compliant Listener - DICOM Query and Retrieve (C-FIND SCU, C-GET SCU, C-MOVE SCU, WADO, DICOMweb) - JPEG2000/JPEG DICOM support - Preference settings for user DICOM communications REQUIREMENTS - Access to a DICOM source of images (PACS, DICOM-compatible software) through WiFi/3G network LIMITATIONS - Images are limited to 1536x1536 pixels, bigger images are down-sampled. - Not suitable for primary diagnosis. J avais acheté cette application en achat unique a presque 30€ et au final je n’ai plus le droit de l’utiliser car c’est passé en abonnement. Sauf qu’au moment de l’achat il n’était pas précisé que ca serait très limite dans le temps. Pratique commerciale plus que douteuse pour un logiciel initialement académique !

It clearly says “not suitable for primary diagnosis”, yet they want 10€/month for a viewer that I, a patient, would use to look at my data. It’s a mobile app worth no more than 10-15€ in a total, one-off purchase. They’ve gone from being a decent developer to becoming a scammer and a damn fraud, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Seemingly not the only one affected by the change from a paid app to a subscription model. Having previously used for teaching and found it quite useful I had a period of not using HD due to a change in role. Coming to use it again the app has become a subscription model now and the original functionality from purchasing the app for £20.99 has been lost behind a paywall. I have tried ‘restore purchase’ but get a ‘you don’t have an active subscription - please subscribe message’. I can’t log in to the software as it previously didn’t require you to have an OsiriX account so at present I’m stumped without the application I paid for. Have contacted Pixmeo and await a response but not hopeful given other comments here. Disappointing as although the subscription model is now common I feel functionality bought before this should be honoured. Two stars as previously it was relatively useful - now useless.

desenvolvedores… o que aconteceu? Já comprei o programa é agora querem cobrar mensalidade? Antigamente eu consegui enviar exames do meu OsiriX do Mac, o qual comprei uma licença, para o software de vocês. Mas agora não mais.

Good program for the first and fast view on the go (iPad). Please add the possibility to scroll images by clicking the mouse button and move it up and down (like in desktop version). 3D VR for future, if possible (I am not sure about anought performance on iPad Pro).

Since when in iOS is delete a double tap. Double tap isn’t even a standard iOS gesture. Delete standard is a swipe or long-touch for pop-up menu. And to casually add personal medical images, we have to pay 120 bucks a year? Have you not heard of casual users? Please come up with some reasonable alternatives - that’s highway robbery plain and simple!!!
