"Now the trumpet summons us again, not as a call to bear arms, though arms we need; not as a call to battle, though embattled we are – but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight struggle..." – President John F. Kennedy HISTORY IN THE MAKING Twilight Struggle puts the player at the center of the Cold War, the political and economic struggle between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R that spanned 5 decades from the 1950's to the 1990's. Designed by award winning creators Ananda Gupta and Jason Matthews, players control one of the two modern superpowers, as they work to spread their dominance throughout the world via political influence and coup attempts. But if either side triggers nuclear war, it's game over! CARD BASED EVENTS The event cards in the game are based on actual historical events from the Cold War era. Through the playing of these events, players exert their superpower's influence as they attempt to gain allies and regional control of the globe. From the early days of De-Stalinization, to the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Vietnam War and beyond, players are immersed in the actual events of the struggle between these two nations to be the dominant superpower in the world! IMMERSIVE STRATEGY Hone your skill and strategy as a world leader against an A.I. opponent, and then take your game global with matches against other players via asynchronous online game play. Please fix the ability to suicide by accident this shouldn't be possible; also there is an error where if you place influence and take the move back before committing sometimes one of the influence stays which is unfair.

The only way to get the tutorial achievement is to win it, but it’s not saved so you will have to play it in one go. Problem is: if you are doing well and are in turn 6 or 7 for example the game crashes to the background and you lose all progress. Crashes are bad but happen, but we should at least be able to save the tutorial instead of losing all that playing time. I also suspect that the AI knows your cards during its decisions, there were some remarkable and strange changes in strategy which indicate prior knowledge

The animations are so slow they make me nauseous. It also just makes the games so slow to play through. We got the game because we thought it would be faster than tabletop but the slow animations make it just about the same but more infuriating because of the bugs

While it is extremely convenient to play TS on my iPad, one bug fix and one UX improvement should be prioritized. BUG: When you advance in the space race to be allowed two space race actions per turn you’re still only able to make one. UX: Before making a disqualifying move like omitting to play a scoring card or couping a battleground state while on DEFCON 2 the game should ask you to confirm that move, as both infractions lead to immediate loss of game.

Gdzie jest język polski? Był odblokowany podczas kampanii na Kickstarterze, a gra jak była od początku tylko po angielsku, tak nadal jest tylko po angielsku…

Love the general mood the game imparts with its design and sound. Sometimes a little hard to easily look at the effects of previous events in the top corners of the screen, but overall pretty solid and fun.

Fantastic PVP experience, especially for seeing the impact of most game moves before they are made final by confirming or rolling a coup or realignment. The single player AI is lousy and very simple to beat unless you set a heavy influence in favor of the AI.

Very unbalanced game with dice rolling. In my opinion no game can be a “strategy” game if you have to rely on dice. The app itself contradicts its own rules. People who enjoy this game are enjoy tedium and the color beige.
