For the last month my loved ones calls aren’t coming through. It’s the app and half the time I can’t even get messages sent through. The amount of money spent by families to this app and their company and having to deal with the constant glitches and not hearing from our loved ones is ridiculous. The app is faulty and the company refuses to resolve it.

The new gray background with Black print on your text app is very difficult to see if you’re older person with eye issues. Please consider changing the font color or perhaps reducing or changing the background from Gray to a light color. Thank you

The app functions. I mean, if you’re looking into Securus then you probably don’t get a choice. Rather, your choice is this or nothing. 1) No “save” button for emails 2) Only holds 1 draft at a time 3) App can refresh and occasionally, your current draft is overwritten by an older draft. 4) Long emails cause cursor to jump all over 5) Long emails also cause image to do a double-vision sort of effect 6) Doing video chat on here alters their face (fisheye) and barely worthwhile. 7) Securus frequently logs you out claiming technical issues. 8) Purchasing video visits, stamps, stamp transfer, Snap & Send and Videograms all generally work fine.

The app is functional, but I wish with E messaging that all of our texts were in a thread rather than sending separate emails every time you want to message them.

App is very glitchy. Keeps flickering and now after putting in my password and it immediately logs me out and I have to log right back in. I’ve reported this in the app but no change.

Like GTL notifications don’t work . And an added annoyance of constantly having to log in to the add. Just leave me logged in.

Summary: This app appears to operate as sophisticated spyware rather than a legitimate privacy/security tool. It allegedly combines invasive biometric monitoring, covert network provisioning, and automated reporting capabilities to law enforcement or correctional agencies. Based on observed behavior and reported functionality, users should treat this software as a serious privacy and safety risk. Overview / What the app claims to do: According to multiple user reports and observed indicators, the app claims or appears to: • Track users’ activities continuously using advanced analytics and network telemetry. • Use the device camera to analyze eye movements and infer user state or intent. • Establish cellular connectivity via an embedded eSIM provisioning mechanism, enabling network access even when a device otherwise has no active carrier service. • Automatically transmit collected data to third parties, reportedly including law-enforcement task forces and correctional institutions. • Correlate phone numbers and contact networks to build direct associations between users and their contacts. Key privacy and security concerns: 1. Covert surveillance: Camera-based eye-tracking and continuous telemetry represent invasive biometric surveillance — especially troubling when deployed without informed consent. 2. Unauthorized network provisioning: An eSIM-like capability that activates service without user knowledge undermines control over connectivity and raises severe carrier and regulatory implications. 3. Automated reporting to authorities: Direct or automated data sharing with law-enforcement or correctional agencies risks misuse, false positives, and irreversible consequences for users. 4. Network-of-contacts profiling: Algorithmic correlation of phone numbers and social graphs can lead to guilt-by-association risks, privacy violations, and discriminatory outcomes. 5. Lack of transparency and consent: The combination of these features suggests the app does not meet basic standards of transparency, user consent, or data minimization. 6. Potential for abuse: The technical capabilities described could be repurposed for stalking, coercion, discriminatory policing, or other abuses. Legal & ethical implications: If even some of the alleged features are accurate, the app may violate telecommunications rules, biometric privacy laws, consumer-protection statutes, and data-protection regulations depending on jurisdiction. Ethically, the app conflicts with accepted privacy-preserving design principles — notably notice-and-consent, purposeful collection, and user control. Recommendations for users: • Immediately uninstall the app and revoke any unusual system permissions (camera, microphone, device admin) if you are concerned. • Review your device’s network and SIM/eSIM settings and contact your carrier if you see unexpected provisioning. • Consider consulting a digital-security professional or legal counsel if you suspect you’ve been surveilled or your device behavior is anomalous. • Preserve evidence (logs, screenshots, messages) if you plan to file a complaint. • Report the app to platform authorities (Apple App Store, Google Play) and to relevant regulators (e.g., FTC in the U.S. or your local data-protection authority). Recommendations for platforms and regulators: • Immediately investigate the app for undisclosed data-collection practices and unauthorized network provisioning. • Require a full third-party security and privacy audit before the app remains listed. • Enforce strict penalties for covert biometric collection, unauthorized eSIM provisioning, and undisclosed data-sharing with law-enforcement or correctional institutions. Conclusion: This software, as described, functions more like targeted spyware than a legitimate consumer application. The alleged combination of covert biometric monitoring, secretive eSIM provisioning, and automated law-enforcement reporting represents a profound threat to user privacy and civil liberties. Until verified by independent security experts and appropriately remediated, the app should be treated with extreme caution. This is based on my research this is all allegedly

I tried for several hours to set up an account through the app but kept getting a message saying it could not be processed (no reason given). After several unsuccessful attempts, I called the phone number given and set up the account that way and paid $10 for eMessaging. Went back to the app and attempted again to login, but it doesn’t recognize my email or password. Tried FORGOT PASSWORD, but it doesn’t recognize my email. I tried calling the phone number again, but that is an automated system with no ability to speak to a live person. I tried the chat bot, but that was not helpful at all because there is no ability to chat with a live person. You have my money, but I am just going around in circles.
