I assume this is not a dating app so I’m not sure why it doesn’t work in the UAE without a VPN. Concept is interesting and I want to try it.

You need to wait and see if other people might be interested in meeting with you? So I should just keep my morning free just in case? That’s not the way to get strangers to meet. Waste of money . P

I’ve just spent 15 minutes on filling the profile to find out that my city (Copenhagen!) isn’t launched yet. I kind of understand the point of your politics, but maybe re-think the complicity of this path, because it is annoying.

The idea behind the app sounds nice, but the reality is very poor. You can only get one random person per day, and you can’t skip or choose who to talk to. The subscription is expensive for what you actually get just 30 random profiles a month with no guarantee of finding anyone relevant. It feels like paying for a lottery ticket rather than a real social experience. The design and usability also don’t make up for how limited it is. Definitely not worth the price

Great concept but overpriced for an app with not enough people yet. I tried it for one month, and on many days I didn’t get a match. On other days, it was random people I had nothing in common with.

The app looks & feel pretty good, I was quite invested with in it, but I would need to try it once to see if the subscription is worth. Paying without seeing the value doesn’t hit with me. But interesting concept.

I’ve been on this app for about a year in two of the most populated cities in the US. I keep the chancing round switch turned on daily, but it only finds a potential match every other day and in some cases every three days. I can count on one hand the times that it found a potential match on back to back days. This is a thinly veiled way to stretch out your membership fee. Because of this, I’ve had breakfast with maybe one or two people a month with a match that showed mutual interest or didn’t flake on me. Not really worth the money.

They update the app literally every few days, forcing you to install the new version every time. Nothing changes however, the most simple and obvious bugs are still not fixed. The app also logs you out once in a while for no reason. These guys are currently gathering investments, I would not recommend investing there. They can’t do even the simplest app development right.

Dunno why this app has such a low rating, I’m a former UIUX designer and I love everything about it. Both experience and value it gives are outstanding. Keep it up The Breakfast Team (I know you read this!)
