App doesn’t store QR code, exiting car park is a problem if you don’t have the PIN. Bad design, screenshot your details if you want to go home after parking

In this day and age of commercial companies totally unable to secure their IT systems and safeguard customers data, I do not intend downloading and using this app as it records some of my personal information which I do not want exposed. Develop a way for me to simply pay for my parking without supplying my personal information.

I often visit the Royal Hotel and park in their customer car park. They have now engaged Secure Parking to manage their customer car park which says you get 3 hours free and after that you have to pay with the app. I downloaded the app and tried to register. First I was asked to grant full Bluetooth access. This is not required as far as I am concerned so I declined. Then there was a statement that says if I register as an account I agree that my private information would be shared. I do not agree to share information so I could not register an account. I looked at the App Store and it says what would be shared and the list was extensive. No way would I agree. I assume that if I had b2clogin.com would get my private information (which is overkill just to park as a customer of the hotel). I assume that because the sign in the carpark says you pay after 3 hours that the app would also require my credit card details. Never found out because I did not complete the registration process. I don’t think I will visit this hotel again. There is something seriously wrong with the parking arrangement and the app. Safari wouldn’t even open the url and a Whois check didn’t reveal who owns the domain. The Royal Hotel/Secure Parking need to review why the hell you can’t opt out of sharing lots of private information just to park as a customer in the customer car park. You have lost me.

Sign says 2 hours free for customers but app says $4. Credit card payment is now saying failed and it’s asking for another card?? Might be a scam, just after card details.

Like most of the reviews from this App I was charged but never parked in carpark. Purely based on a failed booking I was charged & even after providing evidence that I parked in Wilson Parking I have still been refused a refund. I believe this matter has not been appropriately investigated! Surely they must have CCTV footage of vehicle entry and exit on the day covering those hours. Such footage would show no record of my vehicle for the time period in question. Further, on the day and at the time in question I parked elsewhere in the city at a car park managed by Wilson. I can provide transactional evidence of this!! I am, or have been a customer of Secure for some time, however given this lack of customer support I will no longer use Secure Parking and I will advise via reviews how quickly Secure Parking dismisses its customers when a payment has been incorrectly collected and not refunded

I downloaded this app, followed the bouncing ball, carpark name, my name, car details, time from and time to. It informed me how much. Entered my card details. Job done. No. It didn’t work and I got a ticket.

I read the negative reviews and thought no one could be that unprofessional, and want everyone to believe that the app developers and operators could be that stupid. Well, they are. I downloaded the app and tried to reserve and pay for a parking space. There's probably no other app in the app store that's as immature and dysfunctional as this. Apple should simply delete the app from the app store. Don't waste your time with this app. Find another parking provider.
