I don’t know what prompted me to download the app, but I’m really glad I did! Makes it so easy to focus in on instructions for the project you’re working on. I’m using it for the Besties hat, which has instructions for all yarn weights. The app makes it easy for you to start a new project, select the yarn weight and hat size and it just shows instructions for those specifications. All of my Rav pattern purchases by TCK are added to the app automatically. It’s awesome!

I love this app. I downloaded it to knit the World’s Easiest Mitten. If the pattern calls for a row to repeat, say 10 times, the app keeps track of your rows for you! There’s also places for notes. I used this part to make sure each mitten was the same size. The app even kept track and knew after I went through it twice, the mittens were done. There isn’t another app out there that I’ve found that does this and does it so well. Also, I love TinCanKnit’s patterns.

This app does all the finicky planning things for you! I am in love. Can't wait to see what patterns get added. I have their book and this app shows the same thoughtfulness - really glad they made this!

And in many ways I do, it’s great having just your size and the links to techniques and explanations. BUT….. there is no row counter, or highlighter ability to show where you are in a charted pattern which means that you need to go outside the app to do these. And if you’re doing that for row counting or chart reading, then honestly you’re just as well off using a different knitting app that has those features and simply highlighting the size you’re making.

I love this app! I tried learning how to knit like 20 years ago and it was a disaster. For Whatever reason (existing post-2020?) I was feeling like I wanted to try again, and this app has been a game-changer. Having the tutorials linked in the instructions is so helpful, as is the thing that lets you keep track of where you are in the pattern (especially when you repeat 4 rows 12 times, for instance). It wasn’t intuitive for me to find that, but I was thrilled to stumble upon it. The only downside is that my screen time reports are now alarming, but it’s a good feeling being able to use my time on my phone to develop a new skill and create something tangible.

I have just started using the app and it is wonderful. I like how it shows only the size you are working on. I would like, however, to be able to check off parts of a pattern when I am finished with a section.

Okay first and foremost! I absolutely love this app so far. My only complaint is the fact that there isn’t very many patterns. It would be really awesome if more were added soon. I find this app extremely helpful so far with the sizing and making sure that you follow that certain size instead of getting lost like in most patterns with the million sizes. Please please please add more patterns soon!

I want to be able to use this app offline but instead it requires connectivity because it signs me out all the time. I want the app to stay signed in unless I actively sign out. I live in a place with poor signal and no wifi and there's no reason for the app to always require sign in upon reopening. Once I am into the app it's great. I love having just my size displayed.
