「藥掃描」APP 用簡單圖示描述每個功能，目前的 4大功能包含：藥掃描、食藥新聞、藥品許可證查詢及闢謠 Q&A。只要將藥品條碼掃描讀取成功之後，即可即時查看藥品的資訊，藥品仿單、外盒、外觀等相關藥品資訊。「藥掃描」 APP 中也提供食藥署公佈的新聞和闢謠 Q&A ，讓民眾更快掌握訊息，並釐清道聽塗說的網路謠言。
