A Course in Miracles began with the sudden decision of two people to join in a common goal. Their names were Helen Schucman and William Thetford, Professors of Medical Psychology at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. As its title implies, the Course is arranged throughout as a teaching device. It consists of three books: a 669-page Text, a 488-page Workbook for Students, and a 92-page Manual for Teachers. The order in which students choose to use the books, and the ways in which they study them, depend on their particular needs and preferences. The curriculum the Course proposes is carefully conceived and is explained, step by step, at both the theoretical and practical levels. It emphasises application rather than theory, and experience rather than theology. It specifically states that “a universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary” (Manual, p.~77). Although Christian in statement, the Course deals with universal spiritual themes. It emphasises it is but one version of the universal curriculum. There are many others, this one differing from them only in form. They all lead to God in the end.}

Both the audio buttons and missing words in the Preface have been fixed. 😄

I’ve enjoyed this app for several years but since the recent update, the audio no longer plays on either iPhone or iPad — the button simply doesn’t work. Also, in many sentences of the Preface the first word of the sentence is missing (examples: He, You, it, but, etc.)! I emailed the developer, but got no response and so far these issues haven’t been fixed.

This program is making it possible for me to experience the true benefits of studying the course! Thanks so much. I studied the course for 15 or 20 years with little progress, using this program for three months now, I am seeing changes I would not have believed possible! THANKS!!!

So much thought went into making this app! You can listen to the text with music or you can choose to turn the music off. We can use the table of contents to find and listen to any part of the text we want. In Audible, the chapter numbers have no relationship to where you are in the text, but this app lets you choose exactly which section you want to listen to.I also like to set however many reminders I want and when I get them. Excellent app!

What a well thought out app - just what I was looking for. Rich in really useful features that are a pleasure to use. I have been doing the course for a while now and this app will help me digest the content more effectively and motivate me to move forward. Thank you developers for creating such a brilliant app, and thank you Holy Spirit for revealing this gem to me 💎 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Well done. It is certainly as functional as the original acim software that came out years ago in windows. I wish it had a few improvements though... the ability to see the text including your comments, without going to an edit window. (the text does not show that you have a related comment); the ability to underline single words; the ability to make reference links to other parts of the course; the ability to send one’s comments to a notebook, email, etc. I hope you continue to develop this wonderful app. It also would be nice if one uses the search tool, to be able to underline and write notes without going back to the ‘Course’ menu first. Keep up the great work.

I started A Course in Miracles in 1992. I started the Lessons in June 2019 for the 3rd time. This app is incredible for staying on track with the alerts, dates per lesson, and voice. I alternate between the Foundation for Inner Peace app and this one. The apps are A Course made easy!!!😜

I honestly can’t think of a single way one could improve this app. It’s perfect. Bravo. Thank you!
