just like the company total rubbish, nothing but problems with British gas there response login online synced your account online so why have an app

Can't see why as I use minimal electricity and it is the most expensive ever. £60 in December alone.That's a lot for a pensioner.How much is a 'normal' family spending ! Why can't the app tell me my today,or +right now+ balance,supposed to be a smart meter.Yet my latest balance is a week old and am getting emails telling me my credit is low yet my app is telling me last week's balance.

apparently the app is supposed to give Prepayment balance updates: Your prepayment balance will now refresh automatically when you open the app but I've not had any updates to mine since early November, at first I thought it was the app bugging out but after I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app it still says the same amount even if I've topped up... come on British gas pull your finger out or you'll be losing a customer.

It's absolutely ridiculous not to be able to save a card on this app. I'm contemplating changing suppliers because it pisses me off . I don't use physical cards so having to log into banking app to get the card number is more hassle than I can be bothered with every month. sort it out.
