The app is flaky at recording hikes (like it just "forgot" the first km of today's hike). It also does not have the KM markers that the books do. The KM markers are a simple fix and needless oversight. It's annoying because the books have them and they are referred too by the BTC yet not in this expensive app.

Very useful app with topo maps, basic view, and satellite view. Great for planning routes and calculating distance. Not cluttered with ads like Google Maps is. Offline features are helpful in areas with limited network coverage. Criticism: topo maps do not show scale, and aren't clear when zoomed in. Saved Routes feature would be even better if all routes could be displayed simultaneously, along with a percentage of each club/section/total trail completed.

Super handy to track your hike and plan out the trail you want. Tracking shows you exactly where you are on your trail. Excellent. I highly recommend it. Being able to download maps for offline use is also a plus.

wonderful app, fully satisfied, the only thing missing is if I hiked like 150km across 6 different hikes on different dates, app doesn't allow all together in the map, but it does show individually. this feature helps me plan missing areas.

no longer tracks distance. Tried on 2 different android devices (pixel 7 pro and Galaxy S23FE) both will only show current position but will not track distance. Strava works, google maps works. ?
