Afterplace
Short Description (
Characters: 79 of 80
)
An open world adventure game filled with silly characters and terrible secrets.
Description (
Characters: 1391 of 4000
)
Afterplace is an adventurous indie game for mobile devices. It's a huge open world, full of hidden secrets, treasures, and creatures. You'll run around the woods, fight monsters, and talk to ostensibly shady characters! All from your pocket! Be warned though - you never know what the forest might be hiding. Not all trails are paved. Labyrinths and dungeons are tucked away in the most concealed nooks. There are no waypoints in Afterplace. You'll have to forge your own path. Afterplace has been designed from the ground up to be a fast, fluid, beautiful experience for mobile. There are no virtual buttons. You can move and attack by touching anywhere. You can tap objects directly to interact or attack, use two thumbs like a traditional controller, or control the game with a physical gamepad. The game will adapt dynamically to your play style. Pick up and set down the game at your own pace, it will always save your progress. Afterplace is made to feel like a full-fledged indie adventure game that fits in your pocket. About the Author: Afterplace is made by one person, Evan Kice. A former software engineer from Austin TX, Evan quit his job (to the dismay of his friends and family) and has been working full time on Afterplace since early 2019. The initial game released in December of 2022, but Evan plans on continuing to support and polish the game when he can!}

Afterplace is hands down the best game I have played this year, in fact it's one of the best games I've played in a long time. To only have a 1000+ downloads is a tragedy, it should be well over a million by now. It has that old-school NES/SNES Zelda style gameplay, and then there's the story and the dialogue, OMG play this game. Developers should be throwing money at this man's feet for the dialogue alone. Why are you still reading this...you should have already started playing by now.

Simply Beautiful. I was looking for a nice pixel game that I could play and was willing to pay just to not have ads. I must say, wow, this game is such a hidden gem! If you are using touch controls, it's playable but difficult, at least it was for me. Luckily, I have a system that has buttons which this game supports. You can also play in landscape mode. Thank you so much for this game, I truly enjoyed it! Looking forward to any possible future games made by this developer(s).

A game that makes you feel things. Simple controls. Felt like it wasn't meant to be overly dificult. Lovable characters with some of the best video game dialog I've ever experienced. Music, also fantastic. Can't properly describe how great the main theme fits. Absolutely loved this game.

This game is a Hidden gem, it gave me chills while going through the plot. a lot of layers and cool gimmicks. one of the best on the whole Playstore. But please add an option for a fixed joystick, I hate to move my finger all over the screen just to dodge
