HopUp has made many improvements to their platform since I first started using them. They have made great strides to improve user experience, screen bad listings and ensure the safety of buyers. There are problems that hold them back like the excessive fees, very strict word filter, obvious low quality scam posts and the non-existent report generation for seller analytics despite competitor marketplaces having this feature for the same fees.

Been using this app for a couple of years amazing airsoft sale app but with the current update I literally can't send anyone a message because the home, back, and tabs hotbar are in the way of the message bar and I can't access or send messages at all. EDIT: update has fixed the issue and the app is back to it's amazing self, thank you hopup 🙏

Update came out on the 19th and absolutely bricked the app, I cant message anyone anymore, the message bar is faded out and I cant use it despite the rest of the app working just fine, the update needs to be reverted or fixed, Im on Android.

Good place for airsoft stuff, super good community and all that. (If you want friendly prices without sacrificing quality look up Jonathan Huyn really good reseller.) Good for just connecting with others in the Airsoft world as well. I've been very satisfied with the app and the UI is clean and easy to navigate. 10/10 worth the download if you're into airsoft.

Auction feature sucks. Sellers abuse it to get their stuff on the front page then don't sell it if it doesn't meet "reserve price". an auction is an auction, and the devs for this app should fix it so that auctioning an item locks it in, so sellers stop abusing this feature.

if you don't have an iPhone, you can't get into your profile to sell anything. you can buy all you want though

Editing this review. Previously, the app was glitchy, wouldn't always post your listings, and would occasionally delete them in the pending phase. But now with those issues fixed, the app is filled with scammers and fake accounts. You will do your due diligence, only pay after receiving tracking and verifying your items are what is being shipped, only to receive bags of sand or bottles of water. "Just report the accounts.". Sure, if they didn't delete the account immediately after payment. Nice.

APP IS OFFICIALLY DEAD, they permabanned every one who did not use there payment method, and all that is left is genuine slime, just the absolute filth that is at the actual bottom of the barrel. all that is left for sale on this app are drop shipped knock offs, it's easily 95% of the postings. if you are looking to donate anything at your own expense, then this is the app for you. there are no buyers or sellers left, everyone has wisely moved onto to FAR greener pastures.
