This is a smart ballistic calculator for long range shooters. It helps shooters calculate hold overs, and scope settings necessary for long range shots. Works with large caliber and airguns.
This app is using temperature, altitude, humidity, atmospheric pressure, distance to target, target speed and direction, coriolis effect, slope angle, cant and your rifle configuration for calculate optimal vertical, horizontal and lead corrections.
Features:
• Can use G1, G2, G5, G6, G7, G8, GA, GC, GI, GL, GS, RA4 and even custom drag-functions (built-in editor), and can calculate trajectory without using ballistic coefficient!
• You can select reticle from the list (around 3000 reticles! including reticles from Carl Zeiss, Nightforce Optics, Kahles, Vixen Sport Optics, Premier Reticles, Primary Arms, Schmidt and Bender, SWFA, U.S. Optics, and Vortex Optics) and see holdovers at any magnification (see list of reticles supported here http://jet-lab.org/chairgun-reticles )
• List of bullets: around 4000 cartridges database, more than 2000 bullets database, around 700 G7 ballistic coefficient bullets database, around 500 air rifle pellets database includes American Eagle, Barnes, Black Hills, Federal, Fiocchi, Hornady, Lapua, Norma, Nosler, Remington, Sellier & Bellot, and Winchester (see list of bullet/cartridges supported here http://jet-lab.org/chairgun-cartridges )!
• Correction for coriolis effect
• Takes into account temperature of powder (powder sensitivity factor)
• Correction for spin drift
• Correction for vertical deflection of crosswind
• Trajectory validation (truing) by speed or ballistic coefficient
• Correction for gyroscopic stability factor
• Can measure incline angle with phone camera
• Can get current weather (include wind speed and wind direction) from internet for current location and for any place in the world
• Supports Imperial (grain, in, yard) and Metric units (gram, mm, meter)
• Elevation: Mil-MRAD, MOA, SMOA, Clicks, Inch/Cm, Turret
• Get accurate local pressure using internal barometer
• Adjusts for atmospheric conditions for current and zero conditions (Density Altitude or Altitude, Pressure, Temperature and Humidity)
