This application is designed for the realization of vision therapy supervised by Opticians-Optometrists.
1. Benefits of vision therapy.
a) Just as our muscles benefit from physical exercise, certain vision problems can be improved thanks to visual therapy exercises.
b) Vision therapy allows improving the academic performance of certain children with learning difficulties
c) An improved view in sports can help you maximize your performance during the game or at work.
d) It can be practiced by anyone who wants to optimize the operation of their visual system to achieve a more efficient vision.
e) The visual demands can be decisive for the success of athletes and certain professional groups.
f) There are many visual problems, not pathological. that are not solved only with glasses and / or contact lenses.
g) With visual training we can gain in quality of life by maintaining and improving our visual skills, which are necessary for daily life.
2. Improved skills with vision therapy:
a) Eye alignment
b) Fixation
c) Sharpness in near vision.
d) Change of focus from far to near, and vice versa
e) Ocular coordination, the ability of both eyes to work together as a team and to "fuse" in the brain the images obtained by both in a single image.
f) Depth perception
g) Peripheral vision or "lateral vision", important to understand what happens around us
