With Taxfix, you can complete your tax return yourself without any prior knowledge in simple interview mode or hand it over to an experienced tax advisor who you can reach anytime via chat. Complete your 2021-2024 tax return now in no time at all, easily and quickly.
Tax without tax forms, without tax lingo: With the Taxfix app, employees, students and pensioners can complete their tax returns quickly. This also applies to employees who have lived part of the year in Germany and the other part abroad. There are no incomprehensible forms to fill out for your tax return. On average, you'll get €1,172 back!
Do it yourself step by step: In the new and improved questionnaire form, simple questions are used to collect all the information you need to prepare your tax return.
Immediate calculation: Based on the answers, the tax calculator immediately calculates the amount of the refund.
Convenient data transfer: All you need is your income tax certificate.
Secure documents: Save and categorize your documents.
Buy yourself more time with the expert service. When filing with the expert service, the filing deadline is automatically extended from 1 July 2025 to 30 April 2026. Taxfix connects you with an independent tax advisor so you can sit back and relax. Simply upload documents to the app and an expert will file for you.
Paperless tax return: Your tax return is sent directly to your local tax office electronically via the official ELSTER (www.elster.de) interface of the tax authorities.
Fair fees: Downloading, using the tax app and calculating your tax refund with the tax calculator are free of charge. For a flat fee of €39.99 (or €59.99 for joint assessment), you can submit your tax return directly to your local tax office. For 20% of your tax refund (minimum €99,99), you can have your tax prepared by a tax advisor.
Finished quickly: Without Taxfix, you need an average of over six hours per year for your income tax return — with Taxfix, it’s significantly faster.
In order to guarantee the perfect quality of your income tax return, Taxfix is currently focusing on simple tax cases. For this reason, Taxfix does not yet support the following groups of people, tax cases or income:
Freelancers, self-employed persons and tradespeople, including the taxable operation of a photovoltaic system.
Pensions as a civil servant (pension) or for other reasons of obligation, e.g. sales transaction
Income from letting and leasing rooms, apartments, houses and other developed and undeveloped land. This also applies to rentals via platforms such as AirBnB
Support for adult relatives through maintenance payments
Income from forestry and agriculture
Special payments to members of parliament
Year-round residence abroad (limited tax liability)
Residences in two countries at the same time
Foreign income during the stay in Germany only with restrictions (except: Capital gains, subsequent wages for previous activities abroad and V+V/L+F from EU/EEA are supported)
Tax return for inheritance or gift
