Transit makes it easy to get around your city. No more waiting. No more guessing when your ride will arrive – our app helps you travel by public transit in 1,000+ cities. With live departure times and real-time vehicle tracking, you’ll always know EXACTLY when your bus or train is coming. With Transit, you can get anywhere without needing a car: • Plan the fastest route from A to B on public transportation • Quickly compare options like bike + rail or bus + subway • Get instant alerts about delays and disruptions • Save your favorite destinations and lines – then plan trips in just one tap! HERE’S WHAT THEY’RE SAYING “Gives you the best route to where you want to go” - New York Times “You won't realize how much time you can save planning until you use this app” - LA Times “Killer app” - Wall Street Journal “MBTA has a favorite transit app – and it's called Transit” - Boston Globe “A one-stop-shop” - Washington Post AND HERE’S THE WORD FROM PUBLIC TRANSIT RIDERS: “Your app was the deciding factor in selling my car.” “Blows Google Maps out of the water.” “The head of our local transit agency recommended this app over the one her agency created.” 6 GREAT THINGS ABOUT TRANSIT: THE BEST REAL-TIME DATA: Using the best transit agency data, GO crowdsourcing data and our in-house ETA prediction engine, we get you the most accurate real-time info possible for all transport modes: bus, subway or metro, train, streetcar, ferry, rideshare and more. Prefer to travel on two wheels? See live bikeshare and scooter locations right on the map. OFFLINE SUPPORT: Bus schedules, stop locations, subway maps and even our trip planner are available offline. When GPS is spotty underground? Use GO and you’ll still get precise ETAs. TRIP PLANNING PAR EXCELLENCE: See fast and easy routes on buses, subways and trains, and even multiple modes in one trip (bus + bike or scooter + metro). Personalize your journey planner in the settings: skip long walks or the modes you’d rather avoid. It’s like using the MTA Bus Time, MTA Train Time, NJ Transit MyBus, SF Next Muni, CTA Bus Tracker, WMATA Next Arrivals, SEPTA app – all in one! GO NAVIGATION*: Use GO to receive departure alarms to catch your bus or train, and get alerted when it’s time to get off or transfer. You’ll also contribute more accurate info and real-time ETAs for other passengers – and rack up points for being the most helpful rider on your line. CROWDSOURCED WISDOM: See what millions of riders say about crowding levels, on-time performance, the best station exits, and more. EASY PAYMENTS: Pay your transit fare and buy bikeshare passes directly in the app in 100+ cities. *Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life. One bus said 0 minute arrival, then missed, next one changed arrival time five times, when I just gave up and want to take a Uber, it arrives. It’s so frustrating in this winter time for customers.

Consistently shows the wrong buses, or doesn’t show them at all, but when it works it’s nice to have.

Just came out and app said the bus was at one end .. 5 mins later it is at the far end of the line The app is so impossible to accurately time and the like to suck the yearly out of you because after I cancelled it I h go or charged for the year Finally when you hit the go button the bus ceases to appear on the map at all and many stops don’t appear on the route map

This app is so great, the arrival times are accurate by the minute like 90% of the times and it gives me more practical routes than other navigation apps. What i love the most is how it also has bikesharetoronto stations featured and suggests really good bike routes too! I also love how it updates your route when one of your connections might leave before you get there - but sometimes these adjustments are unnecessary and annoying.

The end of the year is nigh. But the end-of-year celebrations are only gettin’ started! Time to head to the cupboards for your fanciest flutes, and top ‘em off with effervescent apple juice — it’s our last release of 2025, and, well, you know us! We’re making it one to remember. - Platform codes! Looking for a train, but aren’t sure which platform it’s stopping at? We’ve added support for all-new platform codes (starting with the first few early-bird agencies to support them!) - Any time you tap on a route, look up a-to-b directions, or start a GO trip, we’ll show you the “platform code” associated with each departure in the ETA card (whenever we have platform code data) - Agency links! If you’re among the lucky folks riding with one of Transit’s 180+ partner agencies, your agency can now set up a cornucopia of custom links for you to explore in Transit’s settings page. Lost and found? Ticketing info? We’ll now point you to all yer agency’s most important pages - Lastly: something bodaciously GO-dacious, for over 4M qualifying crowdsourcers. Stay tuned. The countdown starts now. Rate us 5 stars in 3… 2… 1… See you in 2026!

Halloween is done. Daylight savings is over. The baseballers have gone home for good. Yet the season of sleigh bells is not yet upon us… which means it’s time to bask in the wonderment of GOvember, a middle month for raking leaves and plowing through the leaderboards on your local buses and trains. While you’ve been busy turning public transit crowdsourcing into a gladiatorial spectator sport, we’ve been plotting our own suite of entertainments. Like any worthwhile surprise, we’re giftwrapping it in mystery and allusion. (If you’ve put the “GO” in “VERY GOOD” this year? Then it’s statistically probable you’ll enjoy what’s coming down the bus pikes and train tubes later this month ;) Also… shocker… we fixed some bugs! Talk soon. PS: rate us five stars if you remember the first words of the Power Rangers theme song
