1Password has been helping folks forget their passwords since 2006. Trusted by millions of people and more than 150,000 businesses, "1Password offers the best combination of features, compatibility, security, and ease of use" among password managers, according to The New York Times Wirecutter. == Generate strong passwords == Use the built-in password generator to create strong, unguessable passwords with a tap, then access those secure passwords on any device. 1Password works across popular operating systems as a browser extension, mobile app, or desktop app. == Sign in automatically == Autofill your username and saved passwords when signing in to websites or apps. 1Password for iPhone and iPad works with Safari and apps so you can sign in to your online accounts without the hassle. You can even download a dedicated 1Password for Safari browser extension for even more seamless integration. == Built-in two-factor authentication == 1Password can also create and autofill one-time two-factor authentication codes for services that support 2FA, so there’s no need for a separate authenticator app – and no more copying and pasting. == Industry-leading passkey support == Did you know there’s a more convenient and secure alternative to passwords? They’re called passkeys, and you can generate and save those in 1Password, too – and even use them to unlock 1Password. For sites that support passkeys, you’ll never have to generate another password. == Sign in with other providers == If you sign in to websites or apps with Apple or other providers in a web browser, you can store and sign in with those logins in 1Password, too. == Secure and organize your digital life == Faster sign-ins are only the beginning. In addition to managing passwords and passkeys, you can store credit cards, secure notes, banking info, medical records, and anything else you want to protect in 1Password, so your most valuable personal information is always available on any device. == Share anything, securely == Share passwords and anything you store in 1Password with anyone, even if they don’t use 1Password. Securely (and temporarily) share Wi-Fi details, financial information, and other sensitive info with friends, family, or colleagues to keep that information out of insecure channels like email and messaging apps. == Security made easy == Strong password generation is a big win for your personal security, but 1Password is much more than a password vault. Security features include unlocking 1Password with biometric authentication (including Touch ID or Face ID), and real-time security alerts and reporting through Watchtower. You’ll know immediately if your accounts are compromised in a data breach, so you can take the necessary action. == Travel Mode == Protect your data from prying eyes while traveling with Travel Mode. Temporarily hide vaults containing sensitive information and restore them when you’re home. == Uniquely secure, completely private == Protect yourself and your family from cyber criminals with 1Password’s unique, industry-leading security. We can’t see your 1Password data, so we can’t use it, share it, or sell it. Learn more about our security model at 1Password.com/security. == Get started for free == Try 1Password free for 14 days, then find the plan that's right for you or your business. I enjoy using 1password. The app is great and works well. I’m very technical and find it easy to use my wife is able to use it the ease! Even her 70+ year old mother can use it! I highly recommend 1password and their apps!

Was theoretically going to switch from Apple’s Passwords to theirs, but not only does it not have it as an option to transfer, but nothing is automatic in set up. I had to search to initiate the transfer. If this is highly rated, we are all in trouble.

So I looked at all major password managers for myself and my family including young kids. All have issues but I found that 1password have the least problems. For 1password the issues are: it's expensive, only 5 family members (why 5 family members when Apple, Microsoft and Google all use 6 family members in a family, is 1password smarter then the market leaders??) and the Start here menu item is eating precious real estate of my screen. After finishing all the steps it's still there. Anoying! Why not make it a removable item in the edit home menu list? The rest is working like FaceID, Windows Hello, passkeys sync and sharing, Chromebook, breach control, 2FA. Still not sure if I go to another manager due to the high cost for a family of 6.

They used to be amazing when they were selling perpetual license. I hope they close down for moving to subscription model. And it’s not cheap either.

Removed all possible discounts even for loyal old users. In meantime apps had many bugs, not responsive or slow. Probably my last 1 year subscription and will move to apple passwords. 1password has no loyalty to their non business customers. Lastpass deteriorated in quality years before their data breach i wont take chances with 1password

After trying Bitwarden (clunky interface), Enpass (bad MacOS support), Lastpass (security issues), I am now finally at home with 1Password. Using this tool on all kinds of platforms is a breeze. Integration with browsers, command line, mobile; no problem. Passkeys and login fields are handled perfectly. Payment details; no problem. Interface can sometimes be annoying with login field detection, and offer to store passwords, but that’s just me.

The app is great, the service is great, and I don’t mind paying for this (unlike Netflix). The latest update for iOS is wonderful. Edit: they added this feature that suggests an email address as the user name (if you have a common one being use). This is the worst feature ever, and you cannot turn it off. I have many different email addresses I use for certain things. I am now looking for other password managers.

- You can now select "Use QR Code Instead" on a sign in prompt to reauthorize your 1Password mobile apps with a QR code. - You can now add locations to your items and see them on your Home screen when you're nearby. Turn on "Item Location" under Settings > Privacy to search maps when adding a location field. - We've added a new feature to Labs. Try out Anti-Peek Mode to conceal important details in the app. You can turn it on by navigating to Settings > Labs > Anti-Peek Mode. We would love to hear what you think of Anti-Peek Mode in our Community. - We've added default expiry alerts based on the category of an item. - If you have 6 or more keys enabled in the SSH agent, you'll see a warning callout in the SSH Agent page about too many authentication failures. - We've added passkey and location search filter suggestions. You can see these when you enter an equals sign "=" in the search bar. - Localization has been improved for a number of our supported languages using new translations from Crowdin. - We've made improvements to simplify editing the Home screen. - We've made improvements to username suggestions. If you have an Identity item saved in your vault, the email address from that item will be your suggested username. - We've fixed an issue where the same items were being shown in search results and "Other Suggestions". - We've fixed an issue where the app didn't consistently lock when "Lock on sleep" was turned on. - We've fixed an issue where 1Password wasn't following the Focus Filters selected in your device settings.
