SpaceEars is a sci-fi roguelite game that gamifies ear training with epic space battles! As you fly through space and fight aliens, you’ll need to recognize music intervals correctly to progress.
SpaceEars seamlessly combines epic sci-fi adventures with functional ear training. As you fly and shoot alien ships, you’ll learn different notes. Use music to activate power ups and clear the stage!
Unlock new ships, explore new wormholes and defeat alien bosses. Play through roguelite levels and keep your progress as you face new levels and challenges, even if you lose.
Players will learn music intervals just as easily as learning game controls. SpaceEars progresses players through levels and musical lessons at a natural pace, bringing roguelite gameplay and ear training together in one amazing mix.
SPACEEARS FEATURES:
• ROGUELITE SCI-FI GAME
- Venture through wormholes, exploring far away space while improving your musical ear without even noticing it!
- Defeat bosses in chaotic space battles!
- Set the difficulty for each level.
- Collect spaceships and power-ups.
• EAR TRAINING
- Unlock crazy power-ups during each run by recognizing the right music intervals.
- Train ascending, descending and harmonic intervals.
- You can choose to hear the intervals in the context of a different song at each run, so you can progress in a functional way.
- Learn to recognize intervals in a musical context - just like while playing and listening to music!
- Each level has a different music track providing a new context for functional ear training
• BEYOND SPACE
- Control the first alien spaceship recovered in Area 52.
- Defeat hordes of aliens, including 20+ unique alien ships, 3 mini-bosses, 3 bosses and 1 super-mega-boss!
• A LONG JOURNEY
- Gather resources to acquire new spaceships, growing in power to face the final black hole.
- Unlock new wormholes to explore and gather enough resources to purchase all 8 unique spaceships!
