I’m using the App often and it’s working Fine. Great, QRs are now included,Family Sharing is working. One wish would be vpn on demand to specific urls (intranet), Im sure that this will be added too.

I’ve been living the “road warrior” life for years and managing VPN connections on iOS has always been a juggling act. Between OpenVPN, WireGuard, and DNS tweaks, I used to hop between multiple apps just to get the right setup for each network. Then I found Passepartout, and honestly, it’s the cleanest and most powerful VPN client I’ve used on iPhone, iPad and surprisingly, my Apple TV. What makes Passepartout special is that it doesn’t try to replace your VPN provider; it’s a true VPN client one app to rule all your configs. I run multiple profiles (including my own WireGuard servers), and the app’s modular design makes it super easy to manage. Each piece of the connection (for example: DNS, routing, on-demand settings) are a modularly separated like a "plug-in", which keeps everything clean and makes troubleshooting a breeze when you’re mid-trip trying to troubleshoot your connection. Speaking of WireGuard, back in July I asked the dev for support as I was having hanged WireGuard tunnels whenever they ran for several days. The man jumped straight onto it and found that the Wireguard-Apple library that was being used happened to be abandoned for a long time. Some days later, he went and released an update (versions 3.5.2 + 3.5.3) moving away from the abandoned implementation and fixing all my issues. That alone tells you how responsive the developer is. Not many indie devs keep up that level of communication and quick turnaround. DNS over HTTPS is another huge plus as I use ControlD together with my VPN Tunnels for some "SmartDNS" unlocks for streaming TV from abroad together with some more granular filters/policies. I’ve been able to route my lookups through secure DNS without relying on sketchy system-wide profiles or additional apps. Combine that with Shortcuts integration, and it becomes ridiculously powerful: I’ve got automations that trigger VPN connections depending on SSID, location and even Focus settings on my device. When I walk into my hotel room, my iPhone automatically connects my private VPN and adjusts routes without me touching anything. If I happen to open a work app (or the Work Focus) is activated, the shortcut that connects to my job's VPN is also triggered automatically. I've started recently dabbling on the "Routing" Module. So far, I've noticed that I can define IP ranges or networks that should bypass the tunnel while still keeping everything else locked behind the VPN. It’s the kind of control you normally only get on a desktop client with selective routing, which to my knowledge is not possible on iOS any other way. Since I travel with my Apple TV 4K, Passepartout’s support for tvOS is a dream. I can import my configs, hook up to my WireGuard server, and watch US content on the road without any “not available in your region” nonsense. Everything just works: no fiddling, adding travel routers in between or DNS hacks needed. If there’s one thing I wish for, it’s IPsec support. That would make Passepartout a total one-stop VPN app, covering every possible tunnel type for iOS users. In short: Passepartout is the VPN client for people who actually know what they’re doing and want full control. It’s stable, modular, automation-friendly, and perfect for anyone who lives on the move.

Easy to import my WG and ovpn profiles into. I do wish we could see the cyphers mac etc that were used. I could see these when I used this app last year-And I used to be able to change these but not any more.

When this came out it seemed cutting edge, but today with so many VPN protocols around it seems limited. I think the developers should add some new tech, perhaps using an IAP.
