I have never used such customizable and closely resembling my workflow piece of software. Works with my Dropbox, setup on macOS, Linux and iOS. This is incredibly unique piece of software. I am doing journaling, planning and this replaces Apple Notes and Reminders for me easily with same speed. I just dont know how to make this app live my whole life. Decades of support i wish!!

The reminder feature notifies me one hour before the set time. Could this be a bug caused by daylight saving time? (in Japan, we don't have daylight saving time)

I really like the app, could be more modern but that doesn’t matter to me, it also has a widget which is a nice addon. Now. The syncing from the Mac to the iPad via an beorg org folder which I have symlinked to Mac is awful. I need to manually force sync on iPad to see changes… hope that will be fixed. Kudos to the developer :)

App has a heavy feature set, but doesn’t feel thought out for what you’d really want when using your phone. Poor use of UI elements, clunky animation, and unfriendly layout. For example, to set between DONE/TODO I must tap, then watch the box animate, then select, and I can’t tap outside the box to cancel.

Dear beorg Developer, First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your remarkable work on beorg, a powerful iOS application that aligns with the org-mode philosophy. Your dedication and efforts are truly appreciated by the community. Regarding the feedback, I would like to make the following suggestions: 1. Remove the automatic addition of a schedule during the capture process in beorg. Instead, it would be more convenient if users could add time tags manually. 2. Enhance the repeater functionality by allowing for finer granularity down to the hour level. Currently, the repeater only supports larger time intervals, but the ability to set repeating tasks at an hourly level would greatly improve precision and flexibility. 3. When completing a repeating task, it would be beneficial if beorg did not automatically add the TODO keyword. This would prevent cluttering the task list with completed items and improve overall organization. I hope these suggestions are clear and easy to understand. If you require any further clarification or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Once again, thank you for your exceptional work, and I look forward to seeing beorg continue to evolve and improve. Best regards,
gumaath

+ The item editor can be swiped down to dismiss if no changes. This behaviour does mean that the item editor is no longer full screen on phones, however this behavior can be changed by setting ui-item-editor-phone-fullscreen to #t. + If a search starts with a '(', which indicates a Scheme search, then no search will take place until the search ends with a ')'. + The agenda day quick capture + buttons can now use a default template, if you have one set, when populating the item editor. There are two new Scheme variables associated with this ~agenda-day-quick-capture-use-default-template~ and ~agenda-day-quick-capture-date-type~.

This release contains a new feature suggested by a user, as well as a bug fix for a long-standing issue (since 2017!) with how beorg parsed TODO keywords it didn't recognise. Thanks to both of these users for getting in touch and helping to improve beorg! + New Scheme variable ~filter-include-notes~ so that a simple search in beorg will always look at both the headline and notes when matching. For example "birthday" will look for the text birthday in an item's headline and notes, and not just the notes. This is turned off by default. + New search syntax addition. You can now use 'h' to match only the headline, useful if you have ~filter-include-notes~ set to #t. + Fix for headlines which contain an unknown TODO keyword. Now the TODO keyword is parsed by beorg, and you no longer end up with strange things happening if you update another task. + New Scheme variable ~org-overdue-includes-scheduled~. Historically beorg has considered incomplete items with a past scheduled date to be overdue, which is not the behaviour in Emacs. Set this to #f if you don't want the scheduled date to be used when considering if an item is overdue.
