Used to be a great service, but has since been taken over and is now a complete scam and fraudulent. Didn’t transfer any appointment notes back to the NHS, can’t book appointments, lacking any duty of care. Avoid at all costs

Ever since eMed took over it is now no longer user friendly. Babylon was by far the best way to get to speak to a GP. One of the worst decision they could have made. Looks like it’s time to use a different GP. Such a shame that eMed if ruined what was a perfectly good app and GP to start with!

From 2017-2023 their service was revolutionary and empowering to their patients. Unfortunately since the new eMed came about late 2023 their service is no longer as reliable or indeed careful or kind to patients on their individual level. There is no longer the app to refer to, and my own personal experience of them was unbelievable. Having been a real advocate for them as a patient, even joining their PPG until 2022 - I am in the process of establishing mine & my children’s GP service elsewhere. They simply forgot the patient at the heart of their service & we can all do better than that. Back to old-school local down the road GP. Peace & Love all - oh, and good luck out there, especially if you have kids to manage alongside your own health journies.

Was once the best way for people like myself to access a regular GP, specialist referrals, a mental health practitioner and manage a shared care agreement. After months of “fixing” the app it was recently let slip that the “fix” was simply moving NHS patients off the app after selling off the company to an American corporation but ensuring they get that NHS money as part of their company assets for the sale. Well played, corporate America. A+ implementation of two tier medical care for a hefty profit at the expense of those who need it.

Beware of signing up! There is no chat function on the app and they have no contact details on their website. Getting a refund is impossible

eMed should be avoided on the basis that it purchased and ruined a good app, dangerously disregarded the existing users with very unclear migration and now charges extortionate US-esque amounts for a simple GP appointment. Lets avoid the UK health system becoming the joke that is the US.

You can’t get repeat prescriptions automated, impossible to get appointments. I have lung conditions so not ideal. Joined another surgery, that is close and can deal with a human.
