Make your day. The all-new HEY Calendar puts time on your side. Week after week, not month after month People think in days and weeks, not months. What’s tomorrow? Later this week? Next week? The HEY Calendar is built around how you think, not how paper calendars were designed. Habits and highlights Establish a habit, stick with it. Circle important events so they stand out. Fill your days with memories or moments — not just events. “Sometime this week” mimics real life Need to get an oil change? Get some cash from the ATM? Write a thank you note? Maybe this week or next, just not exactly sure when you’ll have a chance? HEY knows “maybe” is a real thing. And plenty more The HEY Calendar is a full-featured calendar with many original twists on common — and not so common — conventions. Soon you’ll wonder why all calendars don’t work like this. - Set countdowns for anticipated events - Use Day Labels to add context to days - Set up color-coded sub-calendars - Flexible reminders so you don’t miss out}

Hey Calendar isn’t just well-designed — it genuinely reshaped my relationship to scheduling and planning. I’ve historically *hated* calendaring, but when life got too busy last year, I gave Hey from 37Signals a try … and I’ve been so impressed. It’s powerful without feeling heavy, simple without being simplistic, and — most importantly — actually enjoyable to use. For someone who normally dreads calendaring, that’s … remarkable. If you’re considering downloading: DO IT. It’s the best calendar I’ve ever used — the first that feels truly designed around how real people manage time. KEY LOVES: Instant event creation: Long-press anywhere on the timeline and boom: new event. Fast, natural, delightful. A brilliantly simple month picker: Jumping to distant dates is smooth, fast, and thoughtfully designed. Effortless “sometime this week” to-dos: Shortcuts + Hey make it easy to drop in tasks on the go without opening the app. Integrated daily journal: Each day has a dedicated, simple notes area for reminders, meeting thoughts, or reflections — reducing the need to juggle separate apps. (Note: Not a ton of bells and whistles for this feature, but it’s still quite useful.) Convenient Add button: Quickly add events, to-dos, or journal entries with zero friction. VIEWS & WORKFLOWS: The workflow is incredibly intuitive. The horizontal timeline takes a bit of adjustment, but once it clicks, it becomes a surprisingly natural way to see your day. And there are plenty of other views — day, week, month, infinite scroll — all seamless on mobile and desktop. HABIT-TRACKING, TIME-TRACKING, & CUSTOMIZATION: Icon-based habit tracking is visual and motivating. One-tap time tracking is perfect for consulting work — no setup, no fiddling. Color-coded calendars help separate work, social, admin, creative time, etc. Custom day labels and images make days more memorable. “Maybe” events are perfect for tentative plans. Recurring events (including batch-adding) are easy and flexible. Search is fast and reliable. And each event can include invites, locations, notes, and even a visual circle to make it stand out. OVERALL: Hey Calendar is EXCELLENT. Huge thanks to the 37Signals team for building something this polished and genuinely delightful. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love Hey calendar & email. It is 100% worth paying for because it gives me the kind of control over my email that I long wanted and searched for and the kind of calendar experience that I wanted but could never find. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now and it so suits my needs that I don’t even look at what else is available - It’s that good!

Hey Mail x Hey Calendar is a powerful combo. Can’t express how much both products solved for me. Mail Anxiety has been eliminated.

On iPhone 16 Pro, the line under "Don't have an account?" is cut off. I can't scroll down to see it. I can't read what it says and clicking the tops of the letters just barely hit-able brings me to a calendar?? What is that text supposed to say? I don't have an account so it's relevant information for me.

TL;DR - This is a deeply, well-thought-out calendar system with a slight learning curve but absolutely worth a try. - With Hey Mail, the price is worth it Here’s how I think it could improve on iOS: - Rework how event names are displayed in week view. Too much of the event title is cut off to be helpful. Feature request: - Calendly-esque scheduling

There's a subtle genius to the "day view", which bookends my appointments and plans between fields of starry night sky. I'm gently reminded of my connection to the natural cycle of day & night as the "line of the present" moves across the events I've planned. The visuals are particularly striking in dark mode. Thanks for building this beautiful and useful tool!

It’s not as feature-rich and polished as HEY Email, but it gets the job done and I’m certain that eventually it will reach that high bar.
