No cell service no app. Everything is dependant on having cell service, can't even save private notes. Very annoying. Make sure any important photos you take are with your device and not the app if not in cell service or you risk losing them. Other than that I would give it 5 stars as the rest seems really decent.

You get bombarded with calls to join, and then they make it extremely hard to cancel. Complicated app, and the app is much less than the website.

Just started using Housecall Pro and so far I’m loving it, being a mobile auto detailer the only thing I see that’s missing is a weather app, it would be nice to look at Housecall Pro at see what the weather is going to be when I’m booking jobs

There isnt a perfect platform Ive tried them all, they all have there issues n bugs. Just depends on what ypur willing to live with. Sadly HCP doesnt provide any customer service to resolve their issues.

This review will be fairly long. We started out with a free trial on this app and the app itself is great. The issue came in when we tried to use the online payment system. We had a customer pay via ACH after we were told that we were set up and ready to accept payments. Then I was contacted by House call Pro saying they need more information. They wanted three months of bank statements, even though we are a new business. I told them we do not have that and they said they could use our personal bank statements. Keep in mind this is already after the customer has paid and we need to get started on the job. We supplied that information and then a few days later they told us they were sorry and that we could not use the payment system. This is while they are holding the money. They said the money was going to be refunded.. 10 days later, the money had still not been refunded and was still pending in the app. Now that I have clicked the refund button since they have not sent the money back, they have charged me to refund that money, even though they told me it was going to be refunded and that we were not able to accept online payments I would say this is poor business, practice, and robbery on their part, seeing as how they were the ones who told me that we were not able to except online payments, after initially saying, I was ready to accept online payments.

Used the app for a month and it’s been pretty great and now I can’t add attachments/ photos to equipment. Really critical for us to be able to provide pictures of data tags and compressors for specific units and I had the ability to do so until my last two jobs for absolutely no reason. I can go back to previous jobs and add more pictures to previous units but the last two jobs I’ve been dispatched to once equipment has been added there just is no longer a button to add attachments to specific units. Extremely frustrated will be moving to a new platform if not corrected within days

Please add a way to add a company’s truck stock and keep inventory of it and give weekly stock list for each employee

Good luck getting any kind of help. Days will go by and you’ll just keep getting passed from one chat bubble to another
