DanStream is a one of a kind music streaming application for the dancesport community. Boasting with the largest collection of dancesport music in the world, it is the perfect choice for any dancer, teacher or even an unrelated individual, who just loves to dance.
DanStream’s goal is to satisfy every need of a dancer and to create a comfortable, user friendly environment for its users. It’s features were designed with exactly this in mind.
Ever growing music library:
On our platform, dancers can stream nearly all dancesport music that has ever been recorded in CD-quality and our music library is an ever-expanding catalogue of thousands of recorded tracks. All newly released albums are added as soon as possible as our mission is to supply our users with the best music possible.
Real time tempo changer:
One of the most essential aspects for dancing is the speed of the music. With a built in tempo changer You can adjust the tempo of your song anytime.

• Manipulate the Tempo of a song in real time
• Create your own Playlists of your favourite songs
• Discover songs you have never knew they existed

Features we are planning in the near future:
• Competition Simulation: Setting up a playlist, just to stop manually every song at 1:30 or 2:00 is frustrating. This is why we designed a special playlist feature, where you can set the length of your songs, and the application will automatically fade it out and change it to the next track - just like a DJ at a competition!
• Special playlists: Although albums are essential, there is no competition or dance practice where only songs from one album are played. This is why we decided to gather and compile the song lists of big events such as World Championships or German Opens so you can later find that one track that you loved so much at the competition!

- Changed the behaviour of playing music from the Search page - the Player will now load in the search result list instead of the album.
- Intruduced soft and hard limits on Playlist sizes to improve performance.

- Create Playlists directly from your Now Playing list, Albums or other Playlists
- When adding duplicate tracks to a Playlist, you will now get notified about the duplication
- Get notified when your playback is interrupted from another device
Bug Fixes:
- Duplicate tracks in Playlists now won't be highlighted multiple times
- Fixed some rare issues with Playlist sorting
- In the Search menu, albums will now show up as intended, better indicating if there are more then 2 hits
- Fixed a rare crash that affected some Downloaded tracks
