Everything from the pad layouts, scales, new graphics to the sounds work together really well. Also, the new sounds are really, really good (great strings and choir samples). IMHO that this app just quadrupled in value with this free update." - Music-311 "Thanks for such an awesome app, I love that it lets you intuitively visualize and experiment with a "Tonnetz" layout, and better understand Neo-Riemannian theory - as such, Navichord is the perfect gateway from abstract, heady harmony concepts to immediate and practical music being played- a priceless possibility! And it looks beautiful and the tones are great, to boot" - RepentHarlequin73 "This is really a nice, simple, clean app. I love the way you laid out the UI and I especially like that single notes can be tapped first and then dragged seamlessly between notes to produce the chord, then back to another single note if desired. For what it's worth, here are five stars... ***** This app will replace several other more expensive "chord progression lab" apps that I own because I think it's UI design is excellent and perfect for my needs." - ZenLizard "Find using the harmonic grid more intuitive than a piano keyboard, being able to press in the middle of three circles to get major and minor chords is genius. Experimenting with chord patterns and having the chord name at the top and the root and other keys displayed on the keyboard, is helping me get my head around more complex chords." - mister-rz "Downloaded the app when I read about it on dischord. I'm really happy...looks like a great app to explore chord variations." - Jonathan Paran Aran "Read about it on Synthtopia. Bought it just now, love it already. Thanks Denis!" - Dominik Assig "Excelente app para aprender acordes y armonia." - R3dhood "It can definitely be a source of inspiration." - Luca "...it helps (when it comes to chord progressions). It is so simple & that is its value." - Michael L "I use and love Navichord!" - Ep Lipschitz}

I like the app a lot, very clean layout and intuitive to use, but it's been really buggy for me. The dials for setting chords and timing seem to often not line up with what's labeled (like I'll select 3 beats but it will give me 4 instead), and at one point it just stopped letting me edit chords altogether, even after closing the app and restarting my device. I ended up having to reinstall it to get it to work. But if it weren't for those issues I'd give it a 4 or 5.

I was looking for an app I can easily enter and hold a chord so I can play over my guitar. I thought I find it, but no so fast. I can only hold triads and not complex chords. Also hold don’t work for when notes are played in keyboard. Why? These simple shortcomings makes this app almost useless for me. It’s a pity because app is very promising. A feature request for the developer.

Love this app! It’s only missing a strumplate, like an omnichord or autoharp, so we can play notes without going outside the chords.

Better than the circle of fifths! this is a really powerful tool. I like the ability to play chords with one finger. There’s a helpful diagram to show how to play different chords although this could be expanded. It sure would be great to have the chords translated on a guitar fretboard as an option. I think the functionality of the app could be improved say if you move your finger in a designated space and the notes shifted upwards in pitch or downward expanding the notes of the cord. Also it would be great to have some sort of velocity control. It would be really great to have an actual playable instrument. Something similar to GeoShred complete with some really great sounds. It also would be great to be able to change the orientation of the notes to mirror image or rotate the sequence. So I could match my other isotonic. One thing that’s a little annoying is that it’s easy for your finger just to veer off a little bit and play a bunch of notes that you did not intend to play. Geo shred seems to handle this with some sort of curve so it keeps you within the boundaries. It seemed like it would be a great feature to have more notes on the screen and actually have a playable instrument. So far this app helps me with understanding intervallic theory and constructing chords. Overall I think this app is very helpful.

Really well laid out for creating inspiring combinations of chords and notes. The problem is that that there’s no touch sensitivity, so every chord or every note you play comes out at the same velocity as the last one, which prevents this from being a performance or recording tool. It forces you to take the chords and such you come up with here and then play them in another MIDI controller app. There is a setting for adjusting the velocity, but it only moves the velocity of every chord you play up or down to to that velocity.
