The Emergency WA app is Western Australia’s trusted, official source for fast and accurate information during emergencies – helping you make informed decisions to stay safe. Information on Emergency WA comes directly from emergency responders.
The app provides all the features of the Emergency WA website with the ability to set up customised notifications so you receive the types of alerts that are important to you.
Key Features:
- Set custom watch zones to receive alerts and warnings for specific areas.
- Receive near real-time notifications about emergencies that impact you.
- Choose which alert types you receive, including fires, storms, floods, burn-offs, Total Fire Bans and Fire Danger Ratings plus many more.
- Experience all features of the app as a Guest or create an Account to receive notifications across multiple devices.
- Listen to live, local emergency radio broadcasts.
- Upload your MyBushfirePlan for quick access and to share it with friends and family.

This update introduces a new emergency planning tool, allowing you to create a plan for bushfires, cyclones, floods and storms. Know what to do to keep you and your loved ones safe when it matters most.
Link your plan to your watch zone and receive near real-time notification to activate your plan, guiding you, step-by-step, through the actions you planned to take. Remember to monitor official warnings and adjust your plan to the specific situation.
The Terms of Use have been updated to include the emergency plan feature.

We are improving how you receive emergency information when you need it most.
This update includes several new features and enhancements, including earthquake alerts, badges to highlight changes in a warning and the ability to listen to ABC radio when the device is locked.
