Feeling rebellious? Wanna control all your iCloud files & folders via a uni-colored CLI (Command Line Interface)? Go ahead, LibTerm got you covered. Also great for learning basics of Python.

I used to use iSH, but that dev just gave up the ghost at some point and decided they DGAF anymore, so we’re all just out of luck. So I picked up this, thinking perhaps it would be my salvation for all my broken workflows… Who makes a terminal that lacks the regular term keys that one needs? Where are the tab, ctrl, alt, Function keys, etc.? This app may have ssh, which makes it one star better than what I have rated iSH, but if I can’t do the other term-y things that I need to do, this is unfortunately no good to me.

Сейчас обьясню: это вам не Linux, это XNU-шелл (как терминал на MacOS), оно пробрасывает псевдо-терминал подсистемы XNU в окно в приложении.

Super nice I have yet to compile something in it but just getting it to connect with SSH to my desktop is a HUGE thing. With Mac I had to setup a ssh keys 🔑 to get this to work. Just password is not going to cut it. Also some minor display bugs when reopening the app (screen goes blank) maybe we need a blinking cursor?

SSH complains about keys when the remote machine does not require key auth.

Ive been tinkering with this app for a while. You can not do much with it. Only simple tools are available. And you mostly will end up with permissions stopping you.

Honestly a great idea and something I’ve had fun with. I find it too limiting and am restricted with programs. I wish there was more of a package manager. I also find the fact I can not go into directories set at all read to be denied. While this is the best I’ve seen it isn’t comparable to a Linux terminal which I would have preferred to see. I understand some things maybe limited but I feel like a freer directory system and the ability to have a profile to customise the terminal would be much nicer.
