The app offers "la Zanichelli", an encyclopedia you can consult anywhere, designed to resolve doubts, clarify concepts, provide information, and suggest ideas in all branches of knowledge. There are proper names, specialized phrases, and commonly used terms that require encyclopedic investigation, treated in a comprehensive and concise manner. The content is updated regularly by the editorial staff, which keeps abreast of developments in the world's political, economic and cultural scenarios. The app's automatic update feature thus makes it possible to have an up-to-date version of the encyclopedia available at all times.
The app offers a user interface that provides a -simple and intuitive experience. You can swipe the definitions to the right to return to the search results and improve the readability by pinching the text with two fingers to zoom in and out. In addition, you can tap on any word within the definitions and look it up directly in the dictionary without having to type it into the search box. A main menu that can be activated via an icon available at the top right of the screen provides access to all the app's features:
• Index search: displays in alphabetical order the headwords that match the characters typed in the search box
• Advanced Search: lets you search for one or more words and full text
• Settings: allows you to choose the font size of the definitions and the language of the interface
• History: keeps a record of the searches performed
• Abbreviations: displays a table with an explanation of the abbreviations used within the definitions
• Feedback: use it to provide suggestions, and notify errors, missing entries or other comments
• Our apps: displays an updated and detailed catalog of our offer
• Privacy and Credits: view legal notices about the app
