"Yueju Accomp" combines the traditional Cantonese operatic music with modern technology, in order to provide the public with a user-friendly application to experience the accompaniment of Cantonese operatic music as well as building a teaching and learning platform for primary, secondary schools and universities. In this application, users can simply turn their tablets into the music instruments used in Cantonese opera and act like a musician by playing different repertoires, hence, to bring the users a brand-new performance and learning experience.
Features of "Yueju Accomp":
l Special designed Gong-che notation keyboard and percussion keyboard
l The Expression Grid is designed for users to manipulate the dynamics and articulation with a set of multi-touch gestures on tablets
l 12 types of melodic instruments, 14 types of percussion instruments with 5 Sins are available for selection
l Most of the instrument soundfonts are produced by professional musicians with live recording in studio
l 10 default scores are provided, users can also import their score file (in PDF format) into the app
