Dissatisfied with the official Quicken iOS apps and only need to enter receipts on-the-go? Looking for a solution for entering Gnucash transactions on the go? iQIF is perfect for you. We now support importing of .gnucash XML export of Accounts! iQIF allows you to effortlessly create transactions on your iOS device and when ready, export them via a QIF file which can be imported by Quicken, GnuCash or any other money managing application. It is NOT a bloated pocket version of a money managing application, but simply a mobile transaction-creating interface (i.e. it does not sync both ways with Quicken). Hopefully others will have found this as useful as I have. Please note that your desktop finance application must be able to import QIF files. KNOWN ISSUES: - PLEASE VERIFY YOUR VERSION OF QUICKEN CAN IMPORT QIF FILES BEFORE PURCHASING. There are some newer versions where Intuit has been trying to deprecate the use of the QIF format in favor of the proprietary OFX format. DOES NOT WORK WITH QUICKEN ESSENTIALS. *** PLEASE CONTACT ME PERSONALLY WITH PROBLEMS BEFORE GIVING UP ON iQIF - Unfortunately I cannot contact those who leave reviews expressing dissatisfaction, but in many cases I might have been able to remedy the issue and possibly help others having the same issue. ***}

Easy to enter transactions when away from my desktop, never fails to import into my legacy Quicken. Absolutely indispensable. If you need QIF for import, you have to have this app!!!

But has an issue with memorized transactions changing Account of new transaction. Split transactions are handled awkwardly, again because of old memorized transactions. Account or Amount should not be changed by old memorized transactions

the program is very good, but it’s a pity that it’s in English, can you please add Russian to the application

I use iQIF when I’m away from my computer. When I return home I export my purchases to GnuCash. It does this pretty well. My issue is that I have created categories in GnuCash that are not in iQIF. If is not overly clear how to get these into iQIF.

I was looking for an app to track my expenses on the go and import them to my desktop GnuCash application. This app does this just fine. Don‘t forget to enter some payees upfront in order to create entries faster

Very useful to enter transactions on the fly (for ex cash). I use it with gnucash and it works perfectly as you can import (initially) your accounts tree into iQIF and export transactions back into gnucash with corresponding accounts recognised like a charm. User interface is very well done and easy to use.
