TENA SmartCare Bladder Sensor is a wearable ultrasound device that continuously monitors bladder fullness to help prevent incontinence. With gentle vibrations and real-time updates sent to your smartphone or Apple Watch, it discreetly notifies you when it's time to go to the toilet and empty the bladder. The sensor is suitable for both children (> 6 years) and adults (BMI ≤ 25 kg/m2).
This small, discreet, lightweight sensor uses non-invasive ultrasound technology to monitor bladder fullness in real-time. It’s easy to apply by placing on your lower abdomen; with sensor gel for the ultrasound and with adhesive patches to keep your sensor in place.
The sensor connects to your smartphone or Apple Watch via Bluetooth®. Users can set personalized thresholds on when to get notified before the bladder is completely full, i.e. reaching 50% or 70% bladder fullness, allowing for greater control and better planning when to visit the bathroom.
The TENA SmartCare Bladder Sensor app tracks the bladder filling, automatically logging voiding’s as well as allowing for manual entry of any leakage. This creates a detailed and insightful bladder diary that can be shared with healthcare professionals. The smartphone app also provides daily, weekly, and monthly overviews, helping users identify trends and better understand their voiding habits.
Designed for daily use, the sensor can be worn at home, during activity, on-the-go, and both during the day and night. The battery lasts for several days and fully recharges in 2 hours, ensuring it can be readily available for use.
