This update reshapes ZenMode from a simple sleep utility into a fully-interactive, atmospheric “bio-interface.” The entire visual engine has been rebuilt on Metal, letting the app render every theme through a single ultra-smooth shader.
Theme switching is now instant, the white-flash issue is gone, and the old wireframe effects have been replaced with soft procedural fog for a calmer, more natural look.
The breathing Orb has also evolved - it now acts as a true 4-7-8 guide from the moment you open ZenMode. Its expansion, contraction, and haptics follow the full cycle, making it easy to settle into a rhythm with your eyes closed.
Touch interaction: the background responds to your finger in real time [Pro only], parting the fog and creating subtle pulses of energy based on your theme. It feels alive rather than animated.
To reduce battery drain, the renderer now pauses the instant the app goes into the background, and the architecture has been cleaned up to keep everything stable during long sleep sessions.
Introducing: Zen Synth [Pro]
A new ambient audio engine designed for deep rest. Zen Synth lets you blend three calming layers-a low sub-bass hum, a gentle atmospheric drone, and a soft bell-like resonance-into your own sleep soundscape.
Every tone is generated in real time, not pre-recorded, creating a smoother, more organic mix. Fully optional, beautifully simple, and available in ZenMode Pro.

The Visual Awakening Update
