A: No. Trygg doesn't contain any form of tracking or analytics, and collect zero information about you or the usage of Trygg.
Q: What kind of encryption is used?
A: Trygg uses AES-256 for ZIP-archives and AES-128 for PDF-documents.
Q: What can I legally share with Trygg?
A: Everything, as long as it is a PDF, an Image Or something you can type into the Editor. Just make sure you password encrypt the ZIP or PDF with a strong password. Trygg will provide a password strength indicator that tell you how strong your password is.
- A Protip is to use a long password with UPPERCASE, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols.

Added better explanation of usage in-app
- Windows 10 users: Added explanation that opening of encrypted ZIP files with strong 256-bit encrypt requires software like 7-Zip, WinZIP, WinRAR etc on Windows 10. This is because Windows 10 does not support strong encryption and Trygg will not support weak encryption, so we urge people to rather get some good software like 7-Zip instead.
- MacOS users. Strong encryption is supported on MacOS by default. Direct decryption and opening of ZIP archives in Gmail with Safari can be a problem, but Chrome does this perfectly. Safari users should download the archive or open it on their iPhone, iPad or MacOS.
