PGP Everywhere is the most flexible PGP solution for iOS. Our keyboard and action extension let you encrypt your messages and files in any app. FEATURES: • Encrypt/decrypt files anywhere with our action extension • Decrypt PGP emails & attachments in your favorite email app • Encrypt/decrypt/sign/verify anywhere with our keyboard extension • Generate RSA Key Pairs • Interact with key servers • Sign public keys • Face ID & Touch ID • Multiple languages & keyboard layouts • Import/Export keys securely via USB with iTunes File Sharing • Built on top of an open source, independently audited implementation of the OpenPGP standard PGP Everywhere is a PGP Keychain Manager with two app extensions: 1. Our keyboard extension allows you to encrypt, decrypt, sign, and verify messages anywhere that you input text. 2. Our action extension allows you to encrypt, decrypt, sign, and verify files in any app. PGP Everywhere replaces stand-alone PGP Mail apps that have limited features and stand-alone encrypted messaging apps that have limited user bases and instead allows you to use PGP encryption with all the apps you already love. *** KEYBOARD EXTENSION *** Encrypt within any app *** FACE ID for PASSPHRASE*** PGP Everywhere emphasizes ease of use and convenience. The option to use Touch ID instead of entering your passphrase allows you to encrypt and decrypt in places where it would be too inconvenient and cumbersome otherwise, like texting or instant messaging. *** GENERATE KEYS *** PGP Everywhere offers the ability to generate new key pairs *** SECURELY IMPORT KEYS *** In addition to importing keys vie copy/paste, PGP Everywhere allows you to securely import your existing private key via iTunes File Sharing *** MULTIPLE LANGUAGES *** App Supports: -English -German -Russian Keyboard Supports: -English -German -Russian -Spanish -French -Italian -Dutch -Portuguese This app utilizes open source implementations of OpenPGP.}

This app wouldn’t let me add any keys. Not even the PGP Everywhere key found on their website. But the idea is cool. Having the keyboard would be nice… unfortunately it doesn’t work for me… Waste of $5.

This app only is able to encrypt through messaging apps. There is no way to find my key to simply copy and paste to send. Or maybe it's convoluted and I can't find it. Either way I should be able to access my public key easily.

Does not mention lack of ECC key support anywhere. This is a must for me. I hope Apple approves my refund.

this app would not allow me to decrypt a message then started restarting itself. The app cut off then cut back on and know all my keys are gone including my private key to access my bitcoins. Smh

The app does not have any support from the PGPeverywhere team. Wrote to them and did not receive any reply… they show the availability of encryption and decryption for files on App Store, but this feature is too buggy! It opens some files and not others and sometimes fails to open the same file on a different occasion. Don’t waste your time and money. Search for something else. Will change my opinion if they reach out and help me.

App description is misleading by claiming it can decrypt files, however it cannot decrypt standalone files, only text messages with encrypted text. In addition, there is no option to import private key from file, only from clipboard, which can be difficult on iPhone. Not worth money.

UPDATE : March 2020 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• An annoying feature (maybe just an iOS problem?). Whenever encrypting or decrypting in the text area, if new text is pasted in, the Unlock & Lock buttons aren’t visible. The app has to be swiped from memory and re-started to enable further encrypting or decrypting. For a well thought out app, which does exactly what it says it will, this seems an annoying little bug that should have been squashed much earlier. December 2019 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I’ve been using this for a couple of years now and it’s never let me down 👍 Do you leave your house with the door unlocked? Allow anyone to read or go through the ‘stuff’ on your phone❓ Why leave the door to your messaging unlocked❓ Credit to the developers 👍 •••••••••••••••••••• Works as described. I’ve successfully imported 3rd party public key, so that seems ok. A nice app that functions smoothly. Side rant ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Back in the earl 90’s Philip Zimmerman created the first PGP, a command line application. Pretty Good Privacy was so good it was unbreakable. Thankfully Zimmerman released the code on the internet, and got into a shitload of trouble for doing so, but by then the genie was out of the bottle. Zimmerman created the tool because he foresaw the need for privacy in an ever-increasingly connected world, where messages may pass through many different servers, and the contents could possibly be read, or intercepted. The public/private key employed by Zimmerman is now the de facto standard for many commercial applications. Readily available tools pull every byte from your phone, exposing more data than the average person is aware of - all laid bare for law enforcement or your local phone repairer, except for those bytes encrypted with tools such as PGP. To quote Hunter S Thompson: “There is no such thing as paranoia. Your worst fears can come true at any moment.” ‼️ The recent, and increasing, data breaches by one of the largest social media platforms should alarm everyone. The original code being ‘liberated’ from two university associates, so I refuse to name the platform, or the fool behind it who’s ego lets him think he’s untouchable and answerable to no-one (even his own account was compromised). • Let’s not even begin to delve into one of the other biggest collectors of information, Google.

Funktioniert nicht ordnungsgemäss. Ganz einfach große Geldverschwendung. Ärgere mich sehr über die Investition.
