SensBox - the perfect aviatic app for intuitive flight planning
SensBox is a navigation app for paraglider and delta pilots with advanced functionality that is amazingly easy to use. The app uses data from the Flytec / Bräuniger SensBox and supports pilots during competition or recreational flights.
Features:
- Simple and easy to use Direct-To function
- Rubberband function for easy route manipulation
- Extensive intuitive route planning
- Paragliding data from the interactive database http://www.paraglidingearth.com. If you find errors in the database, you can edit it yourself on www.paraglidingearth.com.
- Waypoints, hotspots and airspaces from the DHV (German hanggliding association).
- Import of gpx files (e.g. the database from http://www.dhv.de)
- Live Tracking
- FAI triangle optimization
- Realtime Wind calculation
- High-resolution terrain map
- Final-glide calculation over terrain
- Profile view showing terrain and airpsace on course
- Vertical airspace overview and airpsace warnings
- Flight-statistics for the current flight and task
- Flight-logging (IGC and KML format)
- Trackline on map
- Import of all common data formats (CUP/DAT/OpenAir/PLR/GPX etc.)
- METAR weather data (iPhone only, internet connection required)
- Replay function
- Creation of user waypoints
- Many display options individually configurable
