Do you want to improve your snooker/pool skills? Make higher breaks? Win more matches? It all starts with a good cue action... CueMeasure is an application developed together with the top coaches in the world: - it tracks the movements of your cue and detects when your make a shot - each shot is then analysed in detail using different heuristic algorithms - the app then gives you a score for the different aspects of the shot (wrist rotation, staying parallel to the table, moving sideways...) - the app keeps track of the different shots in your training session to give your an overall session score - It can automatically alert you if it detects unwanted cue action behaviour. - For more advanced uses, CueMeasure shows the movement of your cue using realtime graphs (e.g. are you lifting your elbow just before you make the shot?) - CueMeasure works perfectly on its own, but it also supports a networking/coaching mode where the cue action measurements are transmitted in realtime to another iPhone/iPad device (typically an iPad). Your friend or coach can then view your performance in realtime. CueMeasure is used by top coaches around the world to quickly detect problems with the cue action and help to solve them! No need to invest in expensive equipment when you can already improve a great deal using this application only. Please note that you can install CueMeasure on an iPad for coaching mode, but for the actual measuring of the cue action it requires an iPhone. We are constantly working on updates of CueMeasure, there are new great features coming up very soon, keep an eye open!}

I’m using it to fix my wrist rotation. Great to have this feedback to adjust my stroke. I wish there was a way to save and edit the data.

Please add Apple Watch usage. I’m not talking about using Apple Watch on hand. If i attach watches to the cue instead of iPhone with tape i will be able to use your application all day long. Thank you!

Connect this app to a Apple Watch and you have a excellent way of recovering the data that is displayed on the app. I have use this now for 3 weeks love the app need to get rid of the phone attached to the cue.

I like the app it helps and it is accurate but there are some things wrong with it. When I taped it to the butt of the stick it was heaver but after a while you will get better with the phone taped to the stick. I recommend it to everyone that is trying to get better at there shots

Yes of course you have to tape your phone to your cue. How else would it work. But it does. It uses the gyroscope thing in your iPhone to work out if you’re cueing straight. How much lateral or vertical movement your cue action has which I found really helpful. I got to 98% which I was chuffed about. Using it when practicing means you can tell when you miss a ball that it’s not cueing across. More likely not hitting centre of the white or wrong alignment. Great idea and a good wee app. Cheers.
