HDR for GoPro Hero cameras
Description (

The HDR Photo for GoPro Hero 4, Hero Session, and 5/6 cameras app allows you to capture multiple images with different exposure and ISO (bracketing). The images can then be stitched into a single HDR (High Dynamic Range), well-exposed, noise-reduced, image using other applications (such as HDR Photo, Photoshop, ...). ## Features - Bracket shooting for GoPro Hero 4 and 5/6 cameras. - Capture up to 24 pictures. - Set ISO, and exposure compensation for each frame individually. - Demo video: http://youtu.be/PbuSOPHQGkM ## Notes: - The GoPro camera has to be connected with your iOS device over Wifi all the time. - We recommend to use a tripod for capturing for best results. - Only GoPro Hero 4, Hero Session, and Hero 5 cameras are supported. - The app is intended to capture exposure series (bracketing). Third party apps have to be used for stitching. +++ Disclaimer +++ This app is an alternative app for controlling GoPro Hero cameras. We are not affiliated with GoPro Inc. in any way.}

I use several gopros for VR, but primarily the Hero 5 Black and Fusion. I have considered to get the newest models but they don’t really offer what I need, or enough incentive to upgrade for my needs. Anyway, before finding this app, I had to manually switch settings on each camera to get an HDR raw and it was painstakingly a long process. This app is a great way to take all 9 settings at the desired ISO taking a fifth of the time now compared to before for the same task! I am extremely satisfied, too bad I can only connect to one camera at a time (I understand it is because of the camera wifi limitation), so it still takes a while for a very high quality GoPro HDR VR but it is definitely a lot faster and easier than before. The only reason I took a star out of my rating is because of the UI design. Please add support for dark mode and just make it a bit more appealing. I know it may be a challenge, but I would like to see a button like in the gopro app that allows you to connect to a camera you wish to control within the app. It would also help if it allows you to sync up the time and date same as in the gopro app just to save time from switching apps, specially after replacing batteries. Other than that, great app!
