Tiles and Flooring Calculator allows you to calculate how many tiles you need to cover a simple rectangular area. It makes it easy to estimate the number of tiles or the amount of flooring material required for your project, whether you’re tiling a roof, wall, or floor.
Features:

• Outputs total area, number of tiles, and tile dimensions used in the calculation.
Carpet/Laminate Estimation:
Given the floor area and the width of the vinyl roll, it is easy to determine the length of flooring material required. Simply divide the floor area by the width of the material used.
Tile Calculation Formula:
The total number of tiles can be calculated by dividing the area of the surface to be covered by the area of a single tile. Make sure the units for both areas are the same.
Example Calculation:
How many 30 cm x 30 cm tiles do I need for a 100 m² floor area?
Answer: Number of tiles required: 1,112
