TLDR Scooter are fun but App is designed to extort money! The scooters are indeed good fun if you find one that works properly (but you only know that after unlocking and pay for!) I had a rubbish experience where after starting a PAYG ride I had to push it back and got charged for the privilege of unlocking it and getting nowhere. On my second attempt with a different scooter it did work and was fun to ride BUT when I came to end the ride the app conveniently would not let me and after 5mins and several restarts it finally let me. I had to pay extra for that delay in ending the ride! I took photos and submitted an in app complaint so let’s see if there customer support is any good…! IMHO they should cache start & stop events and sync those times with the server before charging you. Current the app is not playing fair and biased to them taking your money. It feels like the user pays a penalty for scooters parks with variable reception because the app is poorly designed. Note that they set where the scooter parks are located so should not place them in poor reception areas if then insist of connecting to the server to end a ride. This App is not fit for purpose IMHO.

Ik heb 3 euro betaald voor een rit waar dat ik 10 meter van heb kunnen genieten en de rest heb gestapt omdat het apparaat plots stopte met werken.

Level of service is different compared to continental Europe and they will rip you off here (eg. Tenerife). Extra unnotified charges on credit card, no live customer support, slow response rates. You're better off with another provider.

Try to get a refund from them is like getting blood out of a stone. Promises of being refunded in 10WD, this passes and I email to be told ‘email was put in the wrong folder it’s in the right folder now, we’ll get that processed’ I’ve had this numerous times now. Oh, and to top it off they charge you €3 for them to refund you your own money.😅

Payed a good deal of money only to scoot the thing along manually. It’s like paying to give a taxi driver a piggy back. Disappointed.

Very expensive and they add up quickly and you can go in debt and even if it’s a couple cents in debt they require you to pay a euro.
